This statement makes no sense to me at all.
    One can hate a people, I guess,or a nation;
    but a "culture"?
Well, plenty of Americans dislike Islamic societies, though
people of the middle east are no more warlike than virtually any other region on earth. And, no matter what, we all have biases for and against particular aspects of a given society.

Of course there's some truth in what you say. BUT today, as far as I know; there are no Christian leaders calling for the destruction of anyone. I cannot say the same for many Muslim leaders. So if we consider the religious climate that exists today; we can safely say that Muslims are more intollerate and bent on murder than are Christians.

You rarely see it because political correctness is a mixed blessing but there are pastors with large followings making carefully veiled threats at gays and Mexicans and occasionally humble atheists. John Hagee comes to mind. His specialty is calling for the annihilation of Muslims (the irony!) so he can bring about the apocalypse without ever quite saying it.

The more you complain, the less I care about your problems.

She's not a religious leader per se, but the well-known, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter once said of the Middle East: "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to
    Christianity."
Ask yourself if you feel you can trust such a person.

And Bush isn't exactly popular around the world, and he is often regarded as a religious lunatic.
Look at what happened in Italy and Turkey when he went there.

And, in case you didn't know, Bush has been supporting India, Pakistan, and Israel, all which are nuclear powers with cultural/religious tensions. In other words, Bush is helping the prospect of another world war, and perhaps a nuclear one:
"The lethal possibilities of atomic warfare in the future are frightening. My
own feeling was that in being the first to use it, we had adopted an ethical standard
common to the barbarians of the Dark Ages. I was not taught to make war in that fashion,
and wars cannot be won by destroying women and children." - William Leahy, I Was There,
    pg. 441.

Of course, that's not the viewpoint of the countries I just mentioned, and it's particularly not the Zionist message, which has involved constantly threatening Iran (and others) with the "nuclear option," as I have noted in more than one thread.

Like it or not, this the scenario, and it is hardly uninfluenced by Christianity or Judaism.

I think your point is a stretch. Furthermore the threats against the West by Muslim leaders is vocal and not veiled at all. It's blatant.

If there are some Christians who actually do speak out against Muslims and Mexicans I believe they are on the fringe and no not represent the mainstream. I cannot say this about Muslim leaders as they rail against the Jews and the West.

Well, by your standards we'd overlook the actual invasions by Western countries, and instead focus solely on threats by a few Muslim leaders. That's hardly an honest and comprehensive approach to the history of the region.
