This is pretty narrow minded of peoples' lives. As I said before, if I was in such a situation as to become pregnant, I would not be able to go through the pregnancy because I already have to take care of my dad due to his Parkinsons.
Try and be more careful then, its not hard, you have every contraception known to mankind available to you at the nearest chemist, get him to wear two condoms if your worried about one breaking.
Everyone has a different life, different reasons, different situations. I mean no offense, but it is beyond ignorant to act omnipotent in your judgment and believe you know everyone's lives, everyone's reasons, and can judge them.
I am talking about the sickening attitude towards unborn life alot of women and a lot of men also have now, I am talking about abortions for inconvenience, as in towards career, enough kids already, embarressed etc, get your tubes tied if you have had enough kids, if your in a monogamous relationship with a man and he loves and trusts you enough , get him to get a snip so you don't get pregnant.
Theres no excuse any more for accidental pregnancy, and its no case for abortion.

Just because someone may not be in the position right now to have kids, doesn't mean they may not want them in the future. Personally, I don't plan on ever having kids (If I ever get married and my husband wants kids, I will probably just adopt). But I can still understand that many other people want to have kids someday in their life - just not right now.

What about if the child were to go through with a life with no love, no family? These are the very questions every woman who has ever put their child up for adoption has to struggle with every day of their life. That suffering would be just the same for a child as physical pain, disorder or deformity.
At least the child would be alive in an orphanage somewhere, and might find a decent enough family to give him/her the love they will need.
Let's assume for a moment she had 15 children with a 16th on the way, would you say even then that she shouldn't go through with abortion?
A third world woman maybe has that many kids, due to third world conditions they need all the people they can get. Like I already said contraceptives are everywhere, get him to wear two of them, no excuse anymore, and what western woman these days has 16 kids!

As I said before, contraceptive medication cannot be taken all the time. General use itself is hazardous and continous use can cause permanant health problems. But that is besides the point, because I cannot see how anyone can condemn other people when honest mistakes happen.
What is essentially being said here is that people should forfeit their own lives and how they lead them, regardless of circumstance or situation, to allow the development of a possible life to take place. A possible life which is not so very different in possibility from every menstrual cycle or spilled seed, IMO.
Our differenciation here is that I do not consider a developing embryo to be an individual because it has not yet even developed a brain, and you believe a hollow, developing form of cells has a "soul". I carry morals, just not your philosophy on life, or life upon conception rather.
Other than that, I'm going to duck out of this debate because we're just repeating ourselves for verbatim for the most part and its going no where. That, and I'm getting tired of having people call me a "femnasty" and judging me as being in lack of morals when they don't even know me.
