First Libertarian elected to US Congress?

Simply put Bob Smither is running for congress in Texas district cd-22. This is Tom Delay's former seat. To delay has withdrawn from that race. Now the only two candidates are a Democrat and a Libertarian. The district gave Bush 64% of the vote in 2004. It is extremely conservative.

Bob Smither has a good chance to be the first Libertarian elected to US congress. He needs help. To help out or donate go to:

Bob Smither for Congress | 22nd District of Texas - Constitutional Integrity

Whant to see a Libertarian get elected? I have recieved the Libertarian and Republican nominations.

There's already a libertarian in Congress. His name is Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is alive and well, but had to run under the "republican" moniker to be taken seriously by "bi-partisan" lobbyist politics.

Is there going to be a debate between Smither and the Democrip?

If there is, wave bye-bye to the nice Democrip.
