Sigh. Heaven. Heaven is that state in which we will finally be able experience God, unfettered by our physical limitations, our narrow corporeal minds, and our tarnished, sinful perspectives. We will finally get IT. Right now, trying to see God is like trying to look through a frosted glass, but then, we'll be right there with Him with nothing in-between. And all of our family in Christ will be there with us and we will worship God together, surrounded by His love and the love of those other loved ones. And we'll see people we never met in life and see that we are the same and rejoice together.

And, as I always say: if you don't like that idea, don't worry.

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. -- Song 8:6

I don't think this thread asked you to judge other posts.:( It merely asked about your ideas.

Lots of sports in my heaven. Basketball to play. Volleyball. I'm in shape (unlike now, I'm a fat-assed pig) and in the evening, the conferences are realigned, and Washington beats Dallas 52-0 every night in the Super Bowl, but each game is different. Lots of good books to read, and all the music I like plays at the perfect level - in the background at times - full blown, loud dance music at other times. And everyone knows how to dance and LOVES to dance. Mayonase and Steak are healthy but nothing has to die for me to live. I could take an eternity of that, as long as I can watch some good movies, too.

All I see when I look down, something jumpin' on the ground, Scratchin' dirt, cluckin' in the barnyard -
Tell me, could that be you?

An eternity of steak that always existed as "steak" and not "cow"? I'd hit that.

So your reaction to writing a judgemental foolish post is to be a bigger fool? Great, go for it. We are supposed to be respectful of other's ideas here.

When one find themselves in a hole, the first rule is to quit digging.

Edit: I could ridicule you here for poor English Grammar. You can't even figure out how to use a simple comma, but what the hell, who cares, correct? Get the message?

Nope. I don't get the message. Is there a problem?

Phoenix_fire provided what he believes Heaven is. I commented, saying I thought that would be awfully boring.

You told me not to do that. I apologized.

Yet, you still have a problem. Is there anything I can do to assist you? :]

No I really don't have a problem. I didn't see the apology and tried to impress upon you that the idea of the thread was not to comment upon the ideas of others here. Just to merely speak for oneself. I further tried to impress upon you, if we all went around criticizing others, it would indeed reduce this website down to, (to use your own word), a "boring" place. Appreciate your cooperation.

I agree! However, to me, this is when my brain is turned off and I cease to exist.

And all of our family in Christ will be there with us and we will worship God together, surrounded by His love and the love of those other loved ones. And we'll see people we never met in life and see that we are the same and rejoice together.
How exactly could a human experience this? How exactly could a human just "get it" and be able to experience this? I as a human only know the physical limitations and our tarnished sinful perspectives. If I were to get it, I would not be who I am, therefore, would NOT be able to experience this description as who I am now. My point is, if I am not human - I am nothing else because I am only human.

You seem to be describing only one moment in heaven. Is this an eternal feeling, If so, then would it not be just like Death - in that it would be eternal blissfulness?

"One objection that many critics have is the problem of logistics. However, with technologically advanced aircraft at His disposal, transportation for Jesus was NEVER a problem" ---- loser

My theory is a portion (some spark) of the Creator was planted in each being, when we finally return to the Creator we will be more than we all began, because of all the experiences we've gathered in our lives, (probably multiple lives in my belief system.)
