    Wisdom from Brian Tracy ...

    Brian's Quote of the Day

“The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm but because of those who look at it without doing anything.”

    Albert Einstein, physicist
I came here for a visit this morning wanting to share this quote ... Didn't know where to put it, so decided on this forum ... ...

I would add "only" ... As in: "The world is not dangerous (only) because of those who do harm but because of those who look at it without doing anything." ... ...

That IS a good quote, isn't it? Only the one I've been using is just a wee bit different.

Shouldn't this thread be titled "Wisdom form Einstein"? Tracy (who?) is simply quoting Einstein (I know who this is).

Brian Tracy once made his own lightsaber. Brian Tracy doesn't care that you don't know who he is. Accept Brian Tracys wisdom, before it destroys you! Brian Tracy is a mover and shaker.

    "Isherwood," ...

I titled the thread wisdom from Brian Tracy because I get daily quotes from Brian's organization ... They are free and serve to "inspire" me ... It is Brian who provided the quote to me, hence, the attribution ...

The person quoted, of course, is also given attribution ...

Sorry I did not respond sooner, but I am not able to visit this Forum on a daily basis ... ...

    Have a great day, everyone! ... :) ...

    "Scribbler1" ...

All I will say is ... "great minds DO think alike"! ... ...

That would be you and Einstein and everyone else who understands the wisdom of his words, right? ... Especially those who use the quote for a signature ... ...

Does that mean I'm stupid if I disagree?

I think that people who can do something to prevent evil, should do it, but I think it is a little presumptuous to think that there are enough people with the ability to do something about evil to end all evil actions, and the only reason we still have evil is because those people are just sitting around. I'd lean much more towards barbnf's addition of "not only," which allows for the possibility that dangerous, evil people cannot be eliminated entirely by concerned citizens, just reduced.

"Would you like some pie, Dr. Stark?"

"Science is my pie. Curiosity, my sweet tooth.
    Knowledge is my candy."

Me, in the same sentence as A. Einstein? That's crazy talk! In this case I will accept "great minds steal greater minds' material".

It's probably the hair. Twin sons of different mothers, you know...
