He also attempted to flee the arrest.........so now he's not only a sexist, anti-semetic, homobigot, he's cowardly TOO! Much of his arrest record got MAGICLY deleted from the official report, think that would have happened to Baldwin?

If memory serves, Connery was pilloried in the media as well. This proves it's not just Mel Gibson, even GOOD actors can get in trouble in the press.

I agree. It seems extremely dated and definitely politically INcorrect, but that was common back then.

Remember, Ian Fleming created 007 in 1952 and the first Bond film was released only a decade later. Our heroes were textbook macho men. We demanded it and Bond, as well as Derek Flint, Matt Helm and others delivered it. Sensitive and/or thoughtful men were in short supply in those days, and most of the women I knew had no problem with that.
