The prehistoric crystal skulls unearthed shocked science

Perhaps used in some sort of religious ritual or even for some sort of anicent medial school - or who knows?

They remain a mystery even today.

The ancient skulls carved out of crystal rocks were first discovered in South America as people were digging around in ancient ruins. Others crystal skulls were found elsewhere - even one was uncovered in Texas. Apparently who ever made them could journey around our planet in ancient times.

Needless to say - after the originals were found people made some modern duplications - which became hot collector items for a while.

Even if we did find all of these skulls, would the owners be willing to come together to discover what powers they might hold with all their energies concentrated in a common area? How would you ever agree on a single meeting place?

If the finding of all the skulls does signify the end of the world as we know it, would that be a good thing or a bad thing?

As you can see, I don't really have any opinions, just a wealth of questions. I can't decide what I think about them... except that they need more study. I think governments should absorb more of the costs of these studies (rather than relying merely on the current owners).

Do you have any evidence that ancient rocks that ancient people happened to carve have anything special about them? Aside from being old. And crystal.

I think the main evidence is that no modern expert can determine how they were carved and that no one with all our modern technology could make one like they did.

I for one would not strongly advocate any of the phychic speculations about crystals or about the crystal skulls. But I hear if you put a crystal in your hot tub it will keep the water pure. It seems to work somehow.

A Native American reported that he knew about such crystals and that they were located at certain sacred sites for some sort of purpose or another - and he went on about this harmonic convergence that would happen when all the planets are lined up - allowing some kind of other dimensional "ray" to zap the crystal objects so that the earth would remain in balance on it's current axes. Far out eh?

It is a mystery - they were shaped going agenst the grain of the crystal and that should have caused it to break apart into tiny bits - but they did it and our modern techno people cannot.

They were all found near Myan sites.

Now if you have the right kind of mind to do so - you can set up the crystal skulls near a campfire and stare at them for a long time as a focus point for meditation - which can cause one to go into a trance. When under the trance people can "see" stuff that we do not see in a normal state of consciousness (haveing a effect simular to some drugs). They believe their mind can have a extra-reality experience of departing the body for a journey elsewhere ( now called "remote viewing" ).
The flickering light of the fire helps because the rythem is in tune with deep meditational "brain waves" of the mind - according to bio-feedback research. Being they were formed as skulls one could speculate they were using them for a trance state in order to communicate with the spirits of tribal elders who had died - which is a common belief in Native American cultures of old. As well as other kinds of spirit beings. One skull appeared to represent a human-looking Alien - which added more interest to the findings from Ufology religions. Crystals in general have been popular with Seers world wide for ages because they can embody and "focus" light - of all colors. Which gives them a kind of magical appearence for those seeking "beyonder stuff" or who want to heal people via the ancients acts of "lightworking". Using light to balance the energy points of the human body to bring it back to "normal".

Note: it would take me weeks to find webpages to link too for all of what I have just related - and I doubt it I will get around to doing that.

A mystery is a mystery because it has no real solid proof, that is why real research would be needed in order to find out some more realistic answer. Funding and interest from the science community is in short supply relative to those skulls. Partly because they do not "fit in" to theories already established by that community - odd ball stuff is a thorn in their side and they would rather turn the other way - so say the independant researchers.
