| Retired Posts: 7,312 | I saw a documentary...it was years ago so I won't be able to cite all the compelling arguments, unfortunately, but one was really interesting. All these separate people, I guess eventually linked by someone investigating this, had e-rays of sinus surgery done that they had NOT had done. Under hypnosis, all of them recounted the exact same experience. Being snatched and taken up to a ship and operated on. None of them knew each other or spoke to each other before being asked to undergo hypnosis. It was so interesting and there are so many accounts of things like this. There was no evidence that I every saw that would document any UFOs. Talk is really easy hard evidence is tougher to come by. Yes, I have seen UFOs in West Virginia in the 1970s. Many other people in the region saw them at the same time including one or more pilots. I do not know what they were, but I will leave that up to science and future research to find out. Please refer to a source that can present hard tangible physical evidence for extraterrestrial intelligent life capable of space travel. Videos and testimony do not count.<hr size="1" /></blockquote><span class='postcolor'> There is no "hard tangeble evidence" that God exists either. personal feelings and a history of improbable and unprovable miracles don't count. However, I believe in a version of God too, just not the Biblical one. It is a mathmatical certainty that life exists elsewhere in the universe. The only problem I have with them ever visiting here is that given the distances involved, and the place we occupy in our galaxy (way out on one of the arms) not only would it take too long to get here, but why would they want to in the first place? Given the problem of faster that light travel, I doubt that we have been visited by other civillizations. Like they said in "Contact"..."...if there is no life out there, it's an awful waste of space" UFO's are REAL though. I've seen lots of flying objects I couldn't identify, but that doesn't mean they are extraterrestrial. I also believe that life of some sort existed on Mars many years ago, maybe even our anscestors. Just a fun thought more than a belief I guess. Big Jr is watching you! |

| Hot Lava Posts: 1,859 | I saw UFO, I think it was in 1984... they played the convention center in downtown san antonio... "Lights out! Lights out in London!" great band... "I really like this jacket, but the sleeves are much too long..." insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results... |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I agree with Shunny, there is no Hard evidence of extraterestrial intelligent life so the controversy is all speculation. Even if there are ETs here on earth right now, they have not announced themselves and there is no interaction between the species. Until there is I see no reason to treat the subject with much seriousness. If ET decides to say hello, and an exchange of technology is forthcoming, then I'll take tremendous interrest in the subject. |
