It is better because it uses a faster interface. Instead of the actual motherboard calculating or communicating in ons and offs, it will construct sentences it has been programmed to acknowledge as true, or, decide if they are true or not because of what it has learned before.

You can build a system like that but it would be limited and slow. There are reasons relay computers were not used in the long run. It can still be easily simulated, but why?

Well I suggest it is because you have limited technical knowledge and make many assumptions. I am certainly not an expert in computer hardware but I have a basic foundation.

I am not an expert in that field. That being said AI has not been overly successful yet. I also suggest based on your lack of technical knowledge you would not understand it in any case.
