| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 3 | Technology and Education Is technology essential in education? It is important, of course, but when you look at the cost that schools have to pay as well as the fact of all the possibilities of cheating and misuse of computers and the internet, technology seems to have a lot of negative aspects about it. I think that education should focus more on the basics so that kids can think logically without having to resort to calculators or computers. |

Kids will always cheat as long as they are educated together. Students have to be able to use their own logic and technology seamlessly to compete. “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.” -Albert Einstein |

When you have a childhood without techy gadgets, you wind up like my parents, whom don't even know how to work their DVD player. Debate died with chivalry. - Darebirth |
