In all the vast Universe there are surely more advanced peoples than us. At some point they would devise computer simulations, like we do, to discover answers to questions. How can we be sure that all this, including ourselves, is not one of those simulations? It would explain a lot. An unfathomable God. Illogical human behavior. Ghosts. Rhubarb pie. The question of human free will vs determinism. (Yes I'm familiar with The Matrix and Hitchhiker's Guide)

I am very scheptical these events are taking place within the Universe we live-in.
However, if that is true, then it means those guys are bluntheads, since some trillion years is not enough for them to figure out alleged answers.
How is that possible some imbeciles can develop, create and run some computer simulations and that project matches the size of Universe we live-in ? :-)

The universe is a big place. It is unfathomable how big it is.

If there were people operating a simulation that is our universe, those people could determine how we view the universe. They could program us to see the Universe as this huge, endless, space, when in reality its a very small portion of the simulation program.
