| BANNED Location: Los Angeles Posts: 3,203 | You don't need a Fetus for stemcells So my client just had surgery on his leg. He went o Germany and was hooked up to a device that extracted stemcells from his own blood. They were then injected back into him, and his leg was better within days. Why don't we have medicine or science like this in America? We used to be really good about this stuff. |

Just throwing out a guess. Not seeing much online about what you can gather from a fetus vs anything else. What do you say to an atheist who sneezes? Yourdeadthatsit! - Dane Cook | |

But yes, it is possible to extract stem cells from adults but they cannot do as much as embryonic ones. The stem cells for making blood are easy to get out nonlethally, but acquiring the materials for other tissues might be more of a challenge. Destroying America one Volconvo post at a time. | Sedimentary Rock Posts: 3 | that makes me wonder why we don't spend money we use trying to find "weapons on mass destruction" in random countries rather than spend money developing the technology and researching the subject. ..We're all like underpaid slaves living in a sweatshop |
