You could try the above techniques and see what happens, but just looking at the picture to the left, the chances of actually bringing it back to the exact detail of the right eye, is next to impossible..... I mean, sure if you spent a few hours at it and blended things together manually and brushed in a few details compared to the right eye, you could probably get very close to the right eye..... but then again, that wouldn't be bringing back the original detail, you'd be manually adding the detail in..... and in court, that would also be thrown out, because it'd have been modified too much from the original image to determine was was originally there and what the designer added in..... in the end whatever would be in the final photo would be based on the interpretation of the designer, and then you hit more of a biased opinion of design, rather then facts and evidence. And if you didn't have the right eye to reference, trying to add the details in manually wouldn't be very accurate at all, and if afterwards you were shown the right eye, chances are you'd see you didn't get things as accuratly as they should have been..... at that point, it's all about interpretation...... which is why I hate that crap on CSI. Infact, I just watched another episode last night were they had our favorite asian miricle worker at the computer, where he clicked all kinds of things and pulled this BS again.... frig I don't even know why I even bother to watch that show anymore, it just continually pizzez me off. | |

![]() Mass'Debator Posts: 4,724 | Not that I am aware of, but I never looked myself.... I normally just look through the image results in the Google Image Search when I am looking for something in paticular. Mind you, I did see a site somewhere where they match a photo of yourself and compare it to celebrities..... I guess my most compatible face was Johnny Depp. However, that program isn't all that accurate either, as if you submit another picture on another angle, you'd get a different set of results. It doesn't actually have information on facial structures and such... what it did was search for the common color values in the face area. If I had darker shadowing around my cheekbones in relation to where my eyes are located in the middle of the peach area of skin, then it would search for images of celebs who had similar shading in a photo. In fact.... here it is: MyHeritage face recognition - Find the Celebrity in You Upload a photo of yourself and see what happens. |
