BBC NEWS | Health | Human-animal embryo tests 'vital'

I can not comment on hybridization of human and animal DNAs usefulness for treating human diseases. However, I do not find any logic for such a move could/would be much useful.

But, I may inform you in the culture of Brahmins (Hindus) during Janu (Thread) ceremony, cow calf's urine is mixed with four other things and is taken as pious material so that inside cleansing is done. I do not know the scientific reason behind the tradition of use of calf's urine, but is related to up keeping of health in some way or the other.
