There was no death or sickness until man introduced sin into the world. It was perfect, but we ruined the world with greed and distrust.
But then one might wonder why an intelligent creator would create such stupid people to mess everything up.

I said yes, and that does not mean I believe there WAS a creator, but since I have played Sims games, I know I could make a good one, if there were one.

Did I mention any bones? I just find it interesting that everyone would think that life in Eden would be all that great when the insect population never died and most predators were not equipped to eat plants. But hey maybe the insects were not a problem. Maybe mosquitoes somehow miraculously lived on orange juice? As an actual explanation of reality it obviously sucks, but as a myth is makes sense. What I find interesting is how stupid people must be to even consider for a moment that it is not a myth.

It is somewhat interesting that when birds migrate north they depend upon those mosquitoes for food - and up north the bugs don't have a lot of plants to eat, so they adopted by getting their food from warm blooded animals (and even from birds). And being that they reproduce in fairly calm water that affords frogs and fish something to eat when the creeks and ponds kind of dry up in summer and other bugs do not get caught in the current or get washed into the pond by rain -etc. Mosquitoes are like a major food source for fish, bats, birds, and even for other bugs - and because they can live in many areas of the world without depending on veggies to eat, they can become a food source nearly anyplace - so in the "dog eat dog" design that would be a clever idea - in my opinion.

If our reality was created by something, then I think that thing did the only possible perfect job that any thing can do: it created a system that has rules (gravity, electroweak, strong, etc.), bound energy together into physically manifested peices, and set them in motion inside the system to see what would happen. All the while, never interfering with the system, just observing.

That's the stock standard answer of fanatics everywhere.

Sometime in 1939, a young Aryan child said the same of Hitler.

Hey, you're right. If you get high enough, it all begins to make sense.
The bottom line from my point of view; there is no design, there is no supreme intelligence, nor is there any guiding intelligence. The complexity we see is a perception in our minds based on our understanding of things. We seem to forget that we're locked into viewing the world through our perceptions, our senses. We're the ones who attached meaning to everything, we defined the rules. The planet, in fact all of reality, was here before us and will be here after us. We use science, the best tool we have, to attempt to understand the rules and appreciate reality. But at the end of the day we really don't know, because we have no source independent from our own minds with which to compare our findings.

Hitler was a man, he was corruptible, corrupted, and sinful. God isn't.

God is good, Hitler wasn't. God is our creator and the supreme being, not the Fuhrer.

How do you know any god is perfect? Your only evidence is a book written by a HUMAN.

Back up your arguments with evidence.

My evidence will be shown on the Day of Judgment.

The Bible was inspired by God. God spoke to the men who wrote it and let them know what to write.

And it is my belief that an imperfect supreme being COULD not exist! Not even thinking about Christianity, a creator and omnipresent god would HAVE TO be perfect.

So what makes your holy scriptures correct over that of others?
