Religion is poison because it asks us to give up our most precious faculty, which is that of reason, and to believe things without evidence. It then asks us to respect this, which it calls faith. - Christopher Hitchens

I continue to reject God? What makes you capable or qualified in any sort of way to make such a judgement? You are incapable of making such a judgement. You know neither my heart nor my mind.
I never reject God. My heart is open to God. I continuously seek God. I continuously live a life for God.
Please don't make ridiculous judgements when you have no idea what you are talking about.
You are not a messenger for God or an ambassador for God.

I'm all for having a skeptical attitude, I consider myself a skeptic, but if, like you say, you are seeking God, then upon what grounds do you question his existence, his saviors and his love, place the blame of the atrocities of your world upon him, suggest he is hiding from specifically a possible lovingly relationship and compare him to an absent alcoholic step father?
If that is acceptance who needs rejection?

Would an atheist here (anyone) kindly explain the logic/reasoning behind deeming themselves atheist vs. agnostic?
