The combined GDP of the muslim world is less than California. Islamic states will never be powerful. Their dogma inherently holds them back. Like the "west", the chains of religion need to be released before they have any hope of progressing.
That is why I think it is funny when muslims claim that the west is trying to kill them all off. If the "west" really wanted to do any such thing, there would be no muslims left and that's all there is to it. America alone has more military might than the combined military might of the muslim world.
