I've been following the debate on this thread and I can see the frustration of those debating with Marilyn.

Marilyn cherrypicks a source contributed to Sean Handjob, yet ignores any and all other sources offered by her opponents.

Marilyn,

Did you know that Libby originally stated that it was the reporters that told him about Plame? Did you know that the reporters claimed it was Libby that told them about Plame? They both can't be right.

Just recently it has been revealed that it was Cheney whom gave Libby the green light to out Plame. But that doesn't explain why Libby led the grand jury into a wild goose chase at the start of the investigation.

Ever since it was announced that Libby will be charged with obstruction of justice, Bush Jr has been trying very hard to rally support for his war. So far his rally efforts has fallen flat and it doesn't look like this disapproval of Bush Jr's war will ever turn around.

Bush Jr needs to come clean with the public as to why he was so pissed off about Wilson's editorial, why he was so pissed off that he felt the need to declassify information for the sole purpose of retaliation against Wilson. Bush Jr will never come clean with the public and I think we all know that he never will.

Sometimes I have been known to agree with Limbaugh, Hannity and even Michael Savage. This is like a broken clock being right twice a day but when you listen to them they wouldn't even say the liberals are even right THAT often. I hear too much radical right spin and outright lies to ever trust them as sources of facts. These guys are the epitome of the boy who cried wolf.
I think these guys are right a lot, or they'd have no show in MHO. They have guests who know their stuff.

Outing an intelligence agent working for the United States government fits those definitions quite nicely.
You read the sources (and there are plenty of them) and you base your judgement on the validity of these sources. The information was there, it was from solid sources but you didn't bother to read them.
That's cause I was looking for a different perspective. How can you debate something when everybody is saying the same thing?

I'll stop here as I wouldn't want to burden you with 1000 words of redundant crap. Have a nice day.
I don't like to read long paragraphs. Reading gets on my nerves. I know some people love it, but I find it nerve-wracking. I realize this is not your fault, but I like everything real short, and to the point when posssible. But....that's me, and you can type as much as you like. I just might not read it all. Ha!

This is why I wanted to bring in a different element to what was being stated. There was another side to it, it wasn't totally cut and dried. Have a nice day, also!

Treason is really hard to prove.
Not really. But when the executive claims the authority to declassify, and overreach his constitutional powers with carte blanche its IMPOSSIBLE. Just try to find a cop that can arrest him. We have a congress and a senate for the reason of keeping those executive powers in check, but they give him a rubber stamp instead. No, the president doesnt have the power to breach national security. Unless the Senate and congress are willing to lie down for it. Just because the congress does not impeach him for it doesnt mean he hasnt done anything wrong, only that his party is willing to look the other way. No matter how hideous his crimes become.

Do you like Michael Moore, Marilyn? No? Why not? I'll tell you... because he's a pompous blowhard who uses half-truthes, innuendo, rumor, out-of-context statements and pure nonsense to make an emotional case for people who want to believe what he's saying. He's a rich man because he gives undiscerning liberals exactly "the other guys are evil and stupid" message they want to hear.

No different whatsoever than Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, Coulter, etc. They're not journalists, they're entertainers who entertain by offering clever and emotional red meat to true believers.

And completely ignore people who also know their stuff, but with opposing views. Take a break and watch the PBS News Hour of a change of pace, just to see what Fair and Balanced is actually supposed to be.

How about Gross Criminal Negligence?

Indeed... defending the administration from a petty and mean reaction to a whistleblower. How do you defend a rapist in court from the accusations of the victim? You attack and discredit the victim.

The main deal was if she was or wasn't covert.

That last hyperlink I gave was talking about Rove & a guy named Cooper, but I had read where reporters knew about Plame long before Novak mentioned it.

This is hearsay I think. That's what it sounds like. I think the reporters all knew about Plame, and who knows how they found out, but she probably wasn't covert, but if she was she may be able to sue Rove.

This is probably coincidental.

Bush ordered an investigation, and was all for an investigation, so maybe he wasn't that pissed off.

I do.
Everybody else does too. Some just wont admit it or they they are just blind worshippers.
It was a spiteful outing that came just days after Joe Wilson had exposed the fraud that was taking us to an illegal, immoral war. The orders came from the top. Not from the media. We already know this. Known it for months....
