Yet they still rule, because THEY only give us THOSE choices.......and the majority are too ignorant, to loyalist, or to blind to DEMAND more choice..... (even though we demand choice for EVERY other thing under the sun) Petition of Redress of Grievances: http://www.givemeliberty.org/default.htm Canadian Lawsuit Against Their National Banks: http://www.freewebs.com/classaction/ Osborn F. It is self defeating: no one will vote for third party candidates because they don't think anyone else will vote for them. Also, after dem and rep, there are a multitude of lesser known parties and they tend to just dissipate the remainder of the vote. Most people, in the end, force themselves to stomach someone from what are seen as the only competitive parties. I, however, have not been able to force myself to do so. Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. -- Song 8:6 |

The deep pockets contribute to BOTH parties because they know they know the Democrats and Republicans have the best chances to do something for them in exchange for their contributions (bribes). Anyone who believes multibillion-dollar corporations contribute to parties and candidates from a sense of patriotic duty is just plain nuts. Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots. |
