Countdown to the War with Iran..

I can see it coming in like 6 months. I just looked at the breaking news room and their were two stories about Iran testing missles and what not. The news media in the US is on board again and it's starting to feel like dejavu. We are starting our march towards Central Asia. We need those pipelines and that oil.

Did you guys know that BRAZIL.. a "third world" country is going to be 100% energy idependent in less than a year.

The U.S.A. is controlled by a bunch of fat cat moneymen who want to maintain the statis quo. The problem is people are uniformed and don't really care.

Don't watch the news all 'they' are trying to do is scare you.

Ahahahahahahaha...Man, you are making the same mistake that so many have made before.

Before Vietnam War "Were gonna kick them asses!"
Before Korean War "Were gonna kick their asses!"
Before Iraq War "Were gonna kick their asses!"

its just so ridiculous.

Iran has until the end of April to abandon its nuclear-weapons program and comply with international atomic energy agreements or face increased international sanctions, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said yesterday...
<snip>

Mr. Bolton described the U.S. approach as "calibrated, gradual and reversible," but warned that if the U.N. council failed to deal effectively with Iran, Washington would have to look at alternatives.
I think we might have a subtle understanding of what those "alternatives" may be :/

Lets all ask God for a successful massacre of millions of innocent men, women and children. Lets cut em down while they play in the park on a sunny day. May God bless our bullets and bombs for maximum killing force. May our depleted uranium kill their soldiers and disfigure the newborn babies for generations to come. May those who never attacked us die because they have our oil under their sand. May their death not be swift, let them suffer and wail for hours and days. May we cut of their supplies so they may die of thirst and hunger and may the rotting corpses in the street feed the dogs and rats and spread disease. Let all this be done in the name of our loving God. May the widows never be comforted. Lets liberate them from their peace. May they not find rest. May our God not hear their prayers. May the cries be endless. May the mothers crush their lifeless babies to their bosoms. May they have countless amputees. Let blood flow like a river.
Spare no obscenity oh merciless God!! Lets rape and steal and perform every abominable act that comes with every war. We will thank you god for allowing us the honor of squelching the breath of life you did breathe into each of those, your children.

Let us drink the blood of the young and old who will die from the dogs and the racks and the whips in our gulags. May they be converted to our, more blessed religion. Because our God is bigger and better than theirs, which is fake.

Let us rush in before diplomacy can speak her sober, healing words.
Before any WMDs can be found.

That will teach them not to ............

What did they do again?

Can anyone say amen?

(Note: This has been a paraphrase/remake/bastardization of Mark Twains "The War Prayer")

(Addendum:
Oh yeah, dont forget. You get what you pray for others)

Iran has insisted that its nuclear program is peaceful and not weapons-based.

Lets not forget Irans allies. Who have vested interests: (Also from Quismos article)
Quote:
Washington Times (2nd page)

China has said it would veto a move to impose sanctions on Iran. Russia, which helped build Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant and is keen on winning other profitable contracts, stands to lose a lot of hard currency earnings if sanctions are imposed. Mr. Bolton said Moscow was concerned that if it withdrew from Iran, its business there could be replaced by a Western European country.
"There have been any number of conversations between Bush and [Russian President Vladimir] Putin on this, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are further conversations," he said.
The world would be a better place if Bolton would just end his own misery.

I vote we do nothing, pull out of all international treaties, close our bases, dis arm completely, disband the military and hand over all of our nuclear weapons to the UN.

Then the world would be at peace!!!

Right?? I mean.. right guys...

Seriously, like this hasn't been utterly predictable. After the 2000 presidential nomination, I knew we would be in Iraq within four years. How did I know this? Am I a psychic? No, I just know how to put two and two together. Before November 2004, I knew Bush would remain U.S. President, and from there I could predict we would be in Iran within another four years. Might I be so bold as to predict yet another terrorist attack, on the scale of 911, some time within the next 2 years or so? I would love to be proven wrong, but this administration's agenda is so transparent I almost want to blush, if only for their sake.

The Axis of Evil must go down.

And I don't think we should totally disarm and give away our nukes.. But I wouldn't mind if we stopped playing the role of "world's police" then the world would stop hating us. We don't need soldiers stationed in Germany and Japan and Saudi Arabia and ECT ECT We should move all the troops home and reopen some bases and boost our economy with our military.

Do you guys know how much all this is costing us right now? and we pay our taxes.. for what? To pay the interest on a loan from the federal reserve bank so we can go deaper and deaper in debt as a whole until it all falls in like a house of cards.

It seems like they are trying to turn it into a christian vs. muslim kinda thing and that is total garbage.Muslims and Christian both believe in the same GOD ultimately anyway.
George Bush is not a Christian.

Well, it did give us a convenient staging area for the ass whoopin we might actually NEED to give Iran. Strategy is like Real Estate...Location, Location, Location. Nathan Bedford Forrest said a long time ago "Git thar firstest with the mostest". (Of course, he failed to bring the most, and the better equiped Union spanked him like a three year old in walmart, but the strategy would have worked if he hadnt been outgunned). With Iraq as a, well, friendly regime, I guess would be a good word for it, we already have half the equation. As for bringing the most, well, I think you know where Im going with this.

and it also gave us battleground to fight the war against the Islamo-fundamentalist fruitcakes where collateral damage is of minimal concern. I cant speak for everybody but I would much rather carry my rifle down the streets of baghdad that birmingham, and somewhere deep down I think the residents of birmingham would agree. The citizens of Iraq might have other feelings, but I put America and Alabama first. It is to their people, their constitutions, their President/Governor respectively, their interests, and closing with and destroying their enemies that I put first. Obviously we want to play nice with the Iraqi people and give them good impressions of America and make them feel as warm and fuzzy as possible about us, but my MOS is short on foreign relations and big on blowing shit up. Better to do it in their yard than ours.

America, FUCK YEAH!

Catholics and Protestants believe in the same God. Sunnis and Shiites believe in the same God. Christians, Muslims, Jews, all believe in the same God. We all agree that he wants us to get along with each other and live lives of peace, love and forgiveness. And then we blow up each others shit up because we cant agree on the other rules. Kind of silly once you think about it.

Git WHERE with the firstest, etc.? For all the actual threat Iraq posed to the US we could have attacked CALIFORNIA with about the same effect.

I say:
I say we pull out of all prior arranged national treaties myself, including the debts that have been accrued by bad government on our side as well as others, like the UK, Russia, China, France.

We should pull all of our representatives from the U.N. Security Coucil, and the C.F.R., and dismiss them as what they are, terror organizations.

We should abolish all the poser free trade agreements, like NAFTA, CAFTA and all other schams of similar gibberish, and once again trade with only those respect the rights of people, as individuals, as opposed to those who treat their people like slaves, for national profit. (China)

We should close all of our foreign bases, where the HOME nations where those bases are located REFUSE to pay protection money for our troops being there. If we are providing the service or protection, they should be paying for the services rendered.

WE should once again have our military doing ITS JOB, by keeping them in the role of border protection, instead of posing as global police for the NWO; You want to see the borders enforced, and checkpoints used for all people entering or exiting the nation, throw some M-1 Abrams and Blackhawks along the borders, manned by soldiers who can take pride in what their doing, which is PROTECTING OUR BORDERS from all forms of invasion that is ILLEGAL, from terrorists to aliens.

We should focus on creating a battalion of 6-man grouped, Special-Ops Interdiction Teams, and only deploy them overseas once threat was imminent, to remove threats that are CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGERS, not fictional WMD stories, or scare tactics about 3rd World Nations posing a threat.

We should consolidate the armed services, to one service as opposed to four branches. They should all operate of the same budget, and that budget should be made fully transparent to the public.

We should pass FEDERAL LEVEL open-carry laws, so that all Americans once again have their inalienable right to defense recognized in clearly written law. (under whatever consitutional interpretation is being used for the day)

We should create a law to force all public aid bills, that involve TAXPAYERS MONEY leaving the nation, MUST be proposed and PASSED by a SUPER MAJORITY of the people.

We should create a law to force any new bill proposals that in any way affect the rights of Americans, must pass Constitutional review by scholars representing all INTERPRETATIONS of the document currently being used, and then be passed by SUPER MAJORITY of PUBLIC VOTE, before it could even be PROPOSED to Congress or the Senate.

But first and foremost, we should clean up our election system, and have nationwide IRV as well as debate between ALL CANIDATES that is televised, consisting of an open forum to provide questions, as well as a list of pre-prepared platform questions. I think any resonable political debate for the office of President, should be AT LEASTS 2 hours long if there are three canidates or more. One hour for platform questions, and one hour of public questions.

Last but not least, we need a clearly defined mechanism of accountability for keeping officials honest to their claims made to get them elected, as well as full transparency in all levels of governance, only exceptions being that of grave national security importance.

That would be a nice start.

Any such considerations did not prevent Bush from returning to this theme. A significant part of his speech concentrated on the "threat from Iran", in terms both of involvement in the Iraq insurgency and of its nuclear ambitions. Such concentration on Iran is already having two effects on US public opinion: diverting attention from the problems in Iraq and preparing the way for a hardline stance on Iran (reflected in a Gallup poll finding that most Americans regard Iran as the major enemy and a Washington Post-ABC News poll indicating 42% support for military action).

Society may be formed so as to exist without crime, without poverty, […] no obstacle whatsoever intervenes at this moment except ignorance to prevent such a state of society.

Where? Um, well, Iran...Im speaking of Iraq in terms of a staging area for kicking Irans ass. California wouldnt do so well for that, as far as ground forces.
