The Axis of Evil must go down.
Is America a component of that axis, yet?

Will we be told when we are?

We have been terrorizing the world better than Osama ever did.

Git WHERE with the firstest, etc.? For all the actual threat Iraq posed to the US we could have attacked CALIFORNIA with about the same effect.
Except, of course, for the Al Qaida recruiting mission. If we bombed American states, AlQaida wouldnt need to recruit anyone else to do it.

I would like to see Scott McClellens spin on US Military striking America.

It would probly look like this:

You want to end terrorism?
Stop terrorizing. Stop bombing raids on countries that havent threatened (let alone attacked) us. Get out of the Middle East, we are tresspassing.

I dont know if we are going to war with Iran or not, but I think if we do we are going to kick their ass.
bugsbunny04 you obviously are being conned. The idea that the Iranians would roll over and let their country be taken by force is absurd.
If anyone dares to invade then it will be one of the worst blood baths in the worlds history. The offenders would have to expend a fortune in bombs and flatten the whole country. Even then the pockets of sever resistance would make it very difficult to infiltrate.

so we should look at what would be gained, earlier instability, pure an unadulterated hatred by many in the world.

Oh hell lets go for it, a thorough and complete masacre of half the worlds population would eventually bring stability once all the weapons had run out

Where? Um, well, Iran...Im speaking of Iraq in terms of a staging area for kicking Irans ass. California wouldnt do so well for that, as far as ground forces.
Where has the need to "kick Iran's ass" been shown as of yet, outside of Bush's apparent desire to start wars for no reason?
And there is no way you can justify invading a country militarily (Iraq) just to use them as a "staging ground" to invade their neighbor.

I know you are dying to see "action" (no pun intended) but you might find yourself like a lot of cops, where they go through their entire career without firing a shot. many have retired without even removing their gun from its holster.
I know you might feel let down but you might just live long enough to see 30.

All I would say is you hopefully would save yourself for fighting a war that WASN'T started by some sleazy, corrupt and mentally deficient politician. A war you can be proud to have been a part of and one the rest of us can be thankful you DID fight in.

There is honor in serving, even in this regrettable war. But that honor is reserved for those who fight in it and NOT the politicians who start wars for politics, power or money.

Report: U.S. has plan to attack Iran
TEHRAN, April 8 (UPI) -- The United States may lead an attack on Iran to topple the regime, an unconfirmed report contends.

The Jerusalem Post reports an upcoming story in The New Yorker magazine will cite current and former U.S. intelligence and defense officials as sources for the report.

A Pentagon official in the story said the Bush administration sees war as the only way to end the standoff between Iran and the United States.

In the story, a CIA official says U.S. President George Bush considers Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as another Hitler.

The United States says Iran is trying to produce nuclear weapons and is a destabilizing neighbor for Iraq.

Its looking like the only thing that will keep the Neo-Cons in power.

Its no sweat off their balls if they have to start a world war.

If thats what it takes to rule the world, thats what it takes.

National Emergency is a handy ace in the hole. With it, they can claim elections a threat to national security. Even if its a lie, that wont stop them.

What? Dont you think only Israel should be immune from nuclear proliferation laws?

Presuming Iran really is "trying to produce nuclear weapons".

What if their aluminum tubes are actually for lawn chairs?

We can just put the bullet back in the gun? Un-ring the bell, and say "Ooops! Sorry"

this one?
Would President Bush go to war to stop Tehran from getting the bomb?
The Bush Administration, while publicly advocating diplomacy in order to stop Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon, has increased clandestine activities inside Iran and intensified planning for a possible major air attack. Current and former American military and intelligence officials said that Air Force planning groups are drawing up lists of targets, and teams of American combat troops have been ordered into Iran, under cover, to collect targeting data

And if all else fails they can just use depleted uranium as a weapon. What do you mean that's inhumane warfare? Hmm... i could've sworn someone very close used that recently o.0

Bush, GOP Approval Ratings Find New Lows

By RON FOURNIER, AP Political Writer
Fri Apr 7, 9:58 AM ET

WASHINGTON - President Bush's approval ratings hit a series of new lows in an AP-Ipsos poll that also shows Republicans surrendering their advantage on national security — grim election-year news for a party struggling to stay in power.

Democratic leaders predicted they will seize control of one or both chambers of Congress in November. Republicans said they feared the worst unless the political landscape quickly changes.
And is there any quicker way to change any landscape (political or otherwise), than this:

Murder is good for (republican) business:

Besides, theres nothing left to steal from the American Treasury:

They have to branch out. Steal more from other world neighbors.

DAMN!!
It must be hard finding any NOCs to go into Tehran, knowing that your own president is likely to expose you as a spy at his whim and pleasure. Even childish spite is cause enough.

a war with Iran, said CNN, would be uneffective and useless. I say we don't go to war unless we have a more blatant act of war. that way nobody can say Bush did the wrong thing when he went to war with them.

thoughts on possible targets for Iran

I figure that since we are talking about Iran going to war with someone, the question is, where will it be? Hamas has already stated that he wants the Jews out of Israel. He could ally with Iran now that they have a possibility of a nuclear weapons program, and try to blow Israel out of the Middle East. The Dome of the Rock is a very important place for Muslim people. the other possibility is Iraq. they could turn missiles onto Iraq and blow the place out in an attempt to destroy democracy in the Middle East. or they could just point every bomb towards us and say "fire at will." we really don't know yet, but fire in the hole when they do.

Of course not. Our revered leader would never do anything he would need to apologise for.

Don't you understand? The poor people of Iran are being oppressed by the brutal regime of fanatical Muslims. The poor people NEED our help to overthrow tyranny and by God we will GIVE it to them.

Oh, and Iran is also a hotbed of terrorism bent on destruction of our nation too.

It will be a blood bath, the Iranians are familiar with that.
The cost of destruction in both monetary and human terms excessive.
Then when the last drop of radiation drifts across the world will it be peaceful still in the US?

Exactly Where Is Iran Breaking The Law?

What law has Iran broken concerning nuclear - well, anything? What part of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, which they signed and Israel did not, was violated? If Iran announces tomorrow that they are going to acquire nuclear weapons, the United States and other countries say "No!" and Iran asks, "Why not?" what would we all say?

The "wipe Israel off the map" remark was just words. Iran's leaders know that if they attacked any country with a nuclear weapon, the United States and others would turn Iran into the world's largest radioactive-glass-paved parking lot, innocent Iranians be damned. And what say could the United States have in this at all as the only country in recorded history to have actually used nuclear weapons on two civilian populations?

Ukraine May Have Sold nukes to iran

MOSCOW (RIA Novosti) - The chief of Russia's General Staff said Monday he could neither confirm nor deny reports that Ukraine had sold 250 nuclear warheads to Iran.

"Russia's General Staff has no information about whether Ukraine has given 250 nuclear warheads to Iran or not,"

Unfortunately, common sense doesnt have anything to do with the bush regimes policy.

what about the sacrifices of the World Wars? if the only reason you want out of this war is the loss of American life, then I am damn glad we didn't have people like you around for those.

Ahahahahahahaha...Man, you are making the same mistake that so many have made before.

Before Vietnam War "Were gonna kick them asses!"
Before Korean War "Were gonna kick their asses!"
Before Iraq War "Were gonna kick their asses!"

its just so ridiculous.
No the difference is we would be there to replace a government we would be there to kick some as. The objective there would be much different than Vietnam, Korea and Iraq.

That said, Bush would never start an Iranian war without a direct attack aka 9/11 by Iran. If we go to war with Iran it will be by the next president.
