why do they get to decide what is right for the people? The people watching the shows should decide whether it is right for them or not. people have different opinions on what they want to watch. I am not saying that they shouldnt be there but i think they are overdoing their jobs. you cant make everyone happy but you can make a majority happy. since when is a nipple being shown in public a bad thing. i understand that it was a "family event", but clearing howard stern off the air is wrong. What is next cutting george Carlins tongue out because he said something bad about the FCc or the gov't. i know i am rambling but in what you understand do you agree with that i am trying to get across? any one?

I think they do tend to over do things, its just so hard to decide what the majority think is appropriate.

However, look at the bright side: MTV isn't going to be in charge of the Super Bowl Half Time Show, YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! No more lame pop music! We still might get some crappy music, but Justin Timberlake and his ilk is as low as it can go for me besides Christian Contemporary.

The FCC didn't force Stern of the air, Stern was fined by the FCC and then fired by Clear Channel. I too am happy MTV is out of the picture. That half time show sucked.

FCC did have plans to kick them off the air though, which is a huge problem. And this ClearChannel thing is just disgusting.

The FCC is just another waste of federal money that could be spent on something the country needs. A national censor for fecal and sex jokes shouldn't be any concern to the government; let alone near the top of the list. So what red herring will be thrown our way next to make people forget that this administration is inept and dishonest?

even so they still should be not going overboard with their power and now respectable under gaurment company is pulling their annual fashion show because they most likely dont want to here negative feedback from "angry moms" who think their "young" children dont learn it in school or hear about it and think that them seeing it on tv will kill their childrens mind. am i correct? or no?
