| BANNED: Repeated warnings, troll Posts: 1,431 | Iraqi women take up arms! A small band of Iraqi women have taken up arms and is prepared to fight back. Hey hey, here is freedom in action, God bless America for bringing this freedom to their land. Employed by a private security company, the women ride in the front passenger seat posing as ordinary housewives when the comnpay's drivers transport customers around the city in nondescript vehicles. "Before I got into this, I was like a normal female; when I heard bullets, I would hide." Now, I feel like a man. When I hear a bullet, I want to find out where it came from," she sat confortably with an AK-47 assault rifles across her legs, red toenails poking out from a pair of stacked sandals. "I have seen a lot of innocent people die," she said, staring out with intense black eyes. "We are trying to defend ourselves and defend each other. I am doing this for my country". How many American ladies would do this? Would they just sit back and cuss out the President. Edited from the Washington Times By Sharon Behn Nov. 6 |

Don't you see it as a sad state of affairs when civilians are forced to carry AK-47's across their legs? How can this possibly be construed as a positive sign of freedom, when even the most powerless individuals -- which women assuredly are in fundamentalist Muslim societies -- are in such constant danger that they have to carry weapons? Wouldn't freedom, and stability, and an effective government enable people to NOT carry guns while posing as "ordinary housewives" in "nondescript vehicles?" Second: when you ask such a pointed question about women taking up arms in the U.S., you are ignoring every women who fights, and who has fought, on the field of battle (a far greater number than those enlisted in the military). You are ignoring every woman who has served in the military, in every branch, in every capacity. You are ignoring every woman like Valerie Plame, or Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, who help to defend our country through intelligence gathering, diplomacy, and other related activities. You're even ignoring the female members of the NRA, which is a mistake -- they're armed. Often quite heavily. Third: When you imply that American ladies, given a situation similar to Iraq's, would simply "sit back and cuss out the president," you are insulting every woman who lives, American citizens or no. Including, I might add, every woman who considers herself a staunch Republican -- you know, your own side? -- since you're implying that all women would cuss out Bush. I willl step out of the way so the women can now tear you to shreds; I just wanted to point it out. I'll say this: good for those Iraqi women for having the courage to act against generations of enforced subservience, and take real, physical power into their own hands. When they start gunning down the tribal councils that order gang rapes, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/2089624.stm I will cheer. Watch, all of you: if Zealot takes a quote from this, it'll be the first line, where I said, "My brain is freezing." I'll bet he'll ignore the rest completely. "Would you like some pie, Dr. Stark?" "Science is my pie. Curiosity, my sweet tooth. Knowledge is my candy." |

This would make them mercenaries. Given the condition Iraq is in thanks to the moron Bush Jr whom flattened the entire country just to take out Saddam. Bush Jr: Let's take out Joe Blo Sycophants: Sure thing Bush Jr: We'll destroy the entire country just to get Joe Blo The entire country has been destroyed leaving millions without food, water, and jobs. Women become mercenaries just to feed their family and Zealot thinks this is success!

I was trying to understand why you now think Iraqi women are superior to American women. Grandpa h.[/QUOTE The thinking comes from your keys and your lack of understanding. See if you can see anything good in the Iraqis and the Americans and then tell me who is better. Cowardice urges one (in order to vindicate itself) to convince others that flight is not only prudent, but right. It is right to surrender! Zealot, try harder sir! |

Yes, you have surrendered to negativity, right? Cowardice bids one to live as a slave rather than fight and die as a free man! Zealot, like your spice
