Bush said:
"The terrorists are trying to blackmail us into isolationism."
I say:
How can the terrorists blackmail us into sticking to our ORIGINAL INTENTIONS? One of the greatest Presidential speeches in our history, made by one of the most noble leaders we have ever had, spoke out on the dangers of entangling alliances, which both major parties have STRIVED to emplace, and enforce in nations all around the world. At the time Washington made his speech about economic freedom, and foreign policy isolationism, we had military bases in NO foreign countries, now we have over 700 bases around the world, the majority of them in OTHER COUNTRIES. It seems to me, both major parties have striven for a FOCUS on entangling alliances, and creating most of the mess we are dealing with today. We were never meant to even have a standing army, let alone an International Standind Army that serves as a global police force.
Bush said:
"None of us must question the triumphs of the Iraqi people."
I say:
And according to you sir, we must also not question the integrity of our own system, its leaders, its decisions and actions. You advocate the use of free speech zones both in public institutions, and also for political rallies, when the entire nation is technically a free speech zone. You only attend debates with other politicians if the field has been isolated to only the major party canidates, in fear of having to take a stance on issues that were not consulted BEFORE the debate. You yourself, claim to be a "tool" of liberty, yet at every chance, you seek to remove liberty from your own people.
Bush said:
"Democratic Federalism is the best system to right the wrongs of a people who were previously forced to endure tyranny."
I say:
Oh yes, Strong Centralized government that has the motto of protect the majority, burn the minority is a great system of reform. 51% of the people are all that matters, the other 49% are not equal, nor should they be treated so, right?
Bush said:
"Liberty, once chosen, improves the lives of all."
I say:
So then sir, why is it that you are secretly pursuing several actions to restrict that liberty of your own people, through legal and illegal means? Why are you an outspoken advocate for the most limiting document ever passed into law, with respect to liberty of the individual? (the Patriot Act) Why is it that you condemn rebellion in your own ranks, but encourage it in others, who have many of the same faults as yours?
Bush said:
"I hope the enemy tires of fanatacism and murder."
I say:
I find that hard to believe, since you are causing much of the same, and a supporter of both.
Bush said:
"Extremists are not freedom fighters, or patriots."
I say:
Nor are criminals, so when are you coming forward to allow the handcuffs and the firing squad for your high crimes?![]()
Bush said:
"Self determination is the birthplace of liberty."
I say:
So how do you claim that the Iraqi's had this thing you call "SELF" determination, when it was our money, our soldiers, our weapons, our planning, that created the quaqmire in Iraq?
If Iraqi's had SELF determination to strive for liberty, and democratic government, they would have had a REVOLT, not a LIBERATION BY FORCE FROM ANOTHER NATION, that at least 30% of the people of that nation DON'T support. Also, I don't want to hear about the Kurdish rebellion that WE HELPED FOSTER, and then turned our backs as Saddam used chemical weapons that he very well could have obtained from us to quell the rebellion.
Bush said:
"Extremists claim that murder is justified, in attaining the goals of their grand vision."
I say:
So, is this an admission to being an extremist?
Bush said:
"We don't know the course of our own struggle."
I say:
That point is BLATANTLY OBVIOUS, but thank you for showing your grand vision of leadership. Ignorance and failure to grasp reality, are highly under-rated.
