Aristide Flees Haiti; Judge Claims Power

So now that Aristide is gone, what do yall think will happen to Haiti? What role do you think the US will/should play in the rebuilding of the country.

Yeah, well some report I heard here talked of massacre and looting going on in the street of Port-au-Prince.

The Australian press I see is saying Aristide was forced out by American troops...i'm taking most press reports from Haiti with a grain of salt today.

If the US doesn't want a massive refugee crisis, it probably should do a little bit like it did 10 years ago. looks like it will since Bush sent troops down there to join the multinational force.

I've read in Belgium press that American and French diplomats put extreme pressure in the night, threatening him of sueing him from drug smuggling(and I have good reason to beleive it was not a false accusation) if he was staying in office. In other words, they gave him immunity in exchange of his departure. Also, chimeras have assaulted the US coast guard office in Haiti to keep them from returning boat people in Haiti. Aristide by this wanted to keep the boat people card in hands to ask for intervention force to US . It seems they have not seen it like that.

-André Apaid, leader of the 184 , is know for his relation with the IRI, Internatinal republican institute, close to republicans.

-Butter Metayer, not so long ago, was a factory worker in a car shop in Michigan

-Guy phillipe was trained by CIA as a equator army soldier, and hir training in Dominican republic and the weapons his army got there are mooore than suspicious for a US friendly country ...
