Why Does Anyone Care Where Bush Was During the Hurricane

When you are President of the United States, being on vacation is a little different than for most of the rest of us. As Monty points out, the vice president should be filling in for Bush. But even at that the President always has special communications and assets at his disposal to make sure he is current at all times.

Personally, if I were President and knew that Americans were dying because of lack of federal response, continuing to enjoy my vacation would be the last thing on my mind. But maybe thats just me.
