In which case to me you're spelling it wrong. Anyway, I see Impenitent is having a another bout of strawman arguments. Unless you can directly source where Kerry said (without taking out of context), he'd reduce defence and intelligence spending to err zero? (which I do believe you're implying) War is Peace Freedom is Slavery Ignorance is strength Harness the power of Ingsoc, then you can capture someone killed the year before |

Bush is the biggest liberal we've ever seen. Open-borders/blanket amnesty, abortion on demand, gun-control, Soviet-style big-government pimps EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM... |

What EXACTLY has Kerry voted no on that leads you to believe he would scrap the military? |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 3,154 | I can see Kerry going with the whole Clinton/Quigley concept of a world without armies (except for the UN of course, of course we would pump billions into their war-making infrastructure, they would obviously be the only TRUE army. Anyone owning a gun NOT wearing a blue hat would be considered a terrorist. They would love to just hand over our nuke codes to those globalists pinheads. Submit to world government, the TV tells us it's good...THAT is were I part with the left: when they prop up the UN as some sort of heavenly governmental body sent to save us from the "evil right-wingers"... |

| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 5 | You write "We say it doesn't matter who's in "office", it's all controlled and scripted. You come back with the false left/right argument." Thats not entirely true....because nearly all of the social issues of the twentieth century have been decided by our court system, whoever the sitting President is plays a major part in those decisions since it is he who appoints the judges. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- On a different note: Does anyone know why Bush, nor any of the republicans have quoted from Clinton's speech of December 16th, 1998? In it, not only does Clinton say twice that Iraq has "weapons of mass destruction" he states that his "entire security council unanimously agrees" and that if Iraq was given only a couple days the weapons might "never be found". Isn't it bizzare? Why wouldn't the conservatives being quoting this speech every moment? Clinton gave the speech in defense of his decision to bomb Iraq. Personally, I don't trust either party on this issue because of this very speech. Something is strange in the neighborhood...and it ain't ghosts. Christian Hedonist |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 251 | This is the same One World Order Crap that Bush 41 tried to jam down our throats in 1992. The building of power for power itself smacks of Alexnder the Great and Adolph Hitler. Our country was founded and built on American values of freedom and liberty, not a world conquer! In changing our focus from America to the world, is exactly why we were attacked a dozen times including 9-11. I do care about the freedoms of other countries by not at the expense of mine! |
