The Movie the Passion has been released today in theaters across the country. In early interviews with people that had just viewed the movie, people stated that they were very emotional, speechless, and deeply moved by the movie. Non-Christians and Christians alike lined up early Wednesday morning to view the movie. (Source-USATODAY, WORLDNETDAILY, NEWYORKTIMES, WASHINGTONPOST)

As we can see it is just not the Christians seeing the movie it is all the people curious to see what the media has been harping on for the past couple of months. The moving is going to be moving to anyone who sees it. Even if your a Buddhist you will be moved to see a man endure so much because he loved so many.

Even if you don?t believe the whole Christian story, you would have to enjoy seeing someone suffer if you where not touched or moved by this movie.

I encourage everyone to see the movie, everyone black, white, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, EVERYONE.

More from me later,

JOE

Hi, the whole topic leads me to thinking about the Urantia book.
'The Urantia Book presents an integrated world view composed from the concepts and ideas of more than 2,000 individuals who have contributed to the fields of science, philosophy, religion, history, sociology and theology during the last 2,000 years.

Compiled by an editorial staff of superhuman beings, the text provides a comprehensive perspective of human origins, history and destiny.'

First was turned on to the book in the 70's, Really fascinating discourse on an alternate intereptation of christian roots. Christ from a 'you are there persptive' Knowing what went on with the development of the christian bibles I prefer this account over all the others. Conpassionate that's what Christ was. Incredible story.

Since a lot of this movie contoversy is about the portrayal of the charecters involved give this version a view.

I think you don't need to cite sources for the number of people going to see The Passion, but you do need to cite sources about the controversy around it.

And saying (Source-USATODAY, WORLDNETDAILY, NEWYORKTIMES, WASHINGTONPOST) is not citing sources. This is the internet. We have hyperlinks. C'mon.

. . . whenever any government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new government, laying its foundations on such principles and organizing its powers in such forms as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

Well, I saw the movie last night. I'd have to say that even if you're not a believer it is worth seeing.

Most folks that "claim" to believe in Christianity like to politely skip over the most important part. This movie is not for the squeamish, touchy-feely kind of folks. These types of people will most likely be offended by the movie.

The issues of anti-semetism are simply another weak-stick touchy feely complaint from whiners that have nothing better to do than to beat the same dead dog, with the same stick every day.

For a true believer in Christ, the film is a real eye opener, simply because it really takes the brutality that is described in the Bible, and portrays it visually with out any sugar or diplomacy. It's not diluted or conformed to please anyone politically. It simply states what Christians believe happened in actuality.

I had imagined on more than one occasion the events portrayed in the movie, and was quite moved by it. The last 12 hours would have to be the culmination of all that He taught during His life on earth.

The film (The Passion) is really an I opener to Believers and non-Believers alike. It was really hard to say anything for about ten minutes after the movie was over.

I really moving movie.

More from me later,

Ther is no evidence that the Book of Urantia is older than the twentieth century.
