How can anyone respect FOnda after she did prooganda photo shoots for the enemy that we were fighting?

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?

Cindy Sheenen Is The Jane Fonda Of This Generation, Her Own Family Are Sickened By Her Clown Act!
Is this a geniune point of debate or simply a driveby posting?

Certainly the Right wishes this were true. Unlike Fonda, who was a Hollywood dilettante trading on her celebrity, Sheehan is just a mom who happened to come along at exactly the moment when the majority of Americans started taking a hard look at Bush's war and deciding that what they're seeing doesn't - in fact never has - matched what the Administration has been telling us.

Support of Bush's War and for President Bush himself are plummeting.

Whatever her own family may think, a huge number of Ameicans are taking a hard look and rethinking the war because of Sheehan. She's the innocent child who finally pointed out that the Emperor had no clothes... she's the Rosa Parks who stood up and said, "No, I will not accept business as usual".

Sonart, a majortiy? Please. Did you read the polls? They all put support for sheenhan in the 30-35% range.

There is no majority, if anyone has wishful thinking, it's your side. Sheehan is a media made circus event, and the more she bleats like the sheep she's been turned into, the more people ignore her and the anti-war puppet masters pulling her strings.

This gave me a chuckle, V. I mean, who is really pulling the strings? What are the strings and who is pulling them?

Heh, one of my right-wing, pro-war buddies started calling me a "peace-monger" in the early days of the conflict!
Were the anti-war puppet masters pulling my strings back then?

Given the vicious way the right is trashing her, are you suprised? However, you should read the polls yourself. Sheehan is viewed favorably by 35%, unfavorably by 38%... a pretty thin margin, with an almost equal amount, 27%, apparently undecided.

My point is that those undecideds are rapidly turning against the war. Public support for Bush's war has plummeted, from 75% for v. 23% against in 2003 to 44% for v. 54% against this month. There have been protesters of Dubya's war since it began, but none have gained any traction. The fact that Sheehan has suddenly gained so much traction is the canary in Bush's coal mine. The atmosphere is becoming poisonous for him.
