Probably right. I consider myself more of a strict interpretationalist. I don't even know all of the stances of all of the parties.... as far as that is considered, I have just been wallowing in my own ignorance.

I tried to find out what the Repbulican principals are and damned if it isn't like pulling teeth. They haven't got a clue. Take Tom Delay all his energy was in getting power and zero energy in doing what he can do for his country. Delay is the epitome of the Republican all about power and trashing this country and zero about doing what you can do for this country. I have been trying since Bush Jr came into office and I have to admire Republicans both the politicians and the members for their code of silence.

It is more likely that the young are Democrats, even if they are the children of Republicans because younger people are into fantasy and an ideal world without any reality to fall back on yet.
Later as you grow up, learn responsibilty and pay taxes, you tend to grow more conservative and that is where the creation of most Republicans come from.
