Is anyone here also sick of seeing the Aruba story ALL over the news? Thousands of people are kidnapped and murdered every day and yet we've spent a couple months on the same girl now. I feel terrible for the family, but that was two months ago. I really don't care to read about it anymore in the news, when they can talk about things that actually affect all of us. The only legitimate reasons was that it was Spring Break and that it was in another country. It's getting annoying. Anyone agree?

But she was a pretty white girl.

That means we do at least one more month of coverage.

All I can say is this, I do commend the parents for sticking thru with it and making sure something gets done. I think that is only reason it is getting so much coverage...because the mother is forcing the issue. She wants to know what happened to her daughter...I can't blame her for that. That has got to be to most god awful thing to happen..have a child come up missing and not know what happened to her.

But if she does like the "Runaway Bride"...and shows up and say "I did it on purpose, to get in the news"...well then they should hang her from a tree!

Thats all very well. But why do I need to know about it every day as if its a standoff at Waco, TX? "Day 79 in the Natalie Halloway case!!!" Where have we got to when we send our kids to Freaking Aruba for Freaking spring break? As if kids in high school need a vacation anyway. We are not being heartless because of mocking her death or kidnapping. We are directing our negativity towards the media.
