Drop Rep. Ron Paul in there and I'll vote Republican for the first time in my life...

I would not vote for any of those people with the possible exception of Charles Schumer.

Thats probably because I knkow damn little about Charles Schumer, however he does represent NY well when the C-SPAN camera is present. He is one of a very few representatives that can be found telling the truth about anything.

What a bunch of scoundrels.

Here's what I want to see:

Condy Rice |vs| Hillary Clinton

Can you think of anything more entertaining than that?

I can afford to be merely entertained by the elections since Utah will always vote rep, so my vote is totally meaningless.

I said the same thing a few weeks ago. What a riot that would be. That would be a severe blow to the Good Ole Boy network. A real kick in the pants. Not only would they have to vote for a woman, but quite possibly a Black woman.

I might just die laughing if that were to happen.

If Condi were up for election who would the conservative south vote for? They can't vote for a woman - especially a nigger. Maybe a libertarian...

It could be viewed as a form of capitulation.

They will have forced mainstream America to consider alternatives.

Nah, never happen.

Condi Rice? You people are dilusional. There's a reason people like Condi Rice and Colin Powell have never run for political office... they're not politicians and don't want to be. They do what they're particularly good at; their areas of expertise, their jobs. They have no desire to involve themselves in the politics of divisive social issues, pandering to their extremist political bases, campaigning or any of the other nonsense that goes with running for high office.

And for those who are shouting, "Yes, exactly, she's not a politician!!!", I would remind you that, unfortunately, it takes a politician to cope with the politics necessary to get anything done inside the beltway, the most unapologetically hardnosed political arena on earth.

If you don't believe me, just ask the sorry-ass morons who thought Ross Perot was the perfect presidential candidate.

I'm running for president on 08. So vote for me.

(I'm accepting campaign donations at this time-cash, check or money order. )

If you want the country to go to hell in a handbasket, then vote for the one who can drive you there blindfolded.

I would think the position of Sec't of State would give one a very good idea about how politics works. Dealing one-on-one with the leader of a nation should prepare you well for dealing with the Senator from Kansas.

Oh, I wouldn't blame her for not running, even if she were asked. I was just saying that I would think that the SoS would be a good position in which to gain a lot of knowledge as to how politics really works at the international level. If you can handle that, domestic politics ought to be a pice of cake.

Ken Blackwell, currently Ohio Secretary of State, now running for governor with a 15 point lead in the GOP. He's very conservative, black, and very electable. He'll have more than a year as governor by the time he needs to declare, though chances are he's more likely a strong VP candidate.

He is also accused of fraud for signing off on the results of the last Presidential election before all sides were satisfied with the conclusion.

He might also be involved in Ohio's current scam involving the Ohio Workman Compensation Fund investing in fraudulent vintage coins, and skimming the profits. (not sure if he has been implicated on this yet)

Blackwell has done nothing to help Ohioans investigate Diebold, and their electronic voting machines role in the election of George Bush in the last election. In fact, he may be helping cover-up the truth about this situation. National press might not be covering these stories, but you can bet many Ohians are trying to investigate these peoples roles in the possible crimes commited during the last election, and under the Bush administration in general.

I guess the media is to busy pretending to care about the missing girl in Aruba to air these stories.

Once again, great post Milton, and I agree 100%

This is a joke, is not it ? :-)))

Hillary (Clinton) can barely create a political sentence, not to mention a single political thought.
Al Gore : maybe as a pastor ?
Wesley Clark : do you mean as a "political comedian" ?

#2
He matches a political createria, but I think a candidate is "hidden" somewhere out there.

No it is not a joke. These are people who have been seen as possibilties. I am not saying they actually will get the nod by thier party or they should, just that they are POSSIBLE canadates.

It's 180 degree wrong conventional wisdom like this that conservatives so love to tell each other just before the bus of reality runs them over. Just ask George Bush the elder.

Giuliani rose to one occassion. Running in a presidential campaign, however, folks will start to find out why New Yorkers booted him out of office just before 9/11.

Wow Prometheus, learn somethiing new every day! I didn't know Americans still referred to negros as niggers.

But I 'was' under the assumption that a negro wouldn't stand a chance running for president.
