Judges have already thrown out two arguments against it because it is unconstitutional to not allow it, or at least that is how the state sees it.<hr size="1" /></blockquote><span class='postcolor'> no, that is how a few radical leftist judges see it... the law will be voted upon by the people and in this case a constitutional ammendment will be required... and if you look at the law, where is the law that says it is legal to have an abortion? what specific piece of federal legislation was that? which president signed that into existence? the abortionists got to enact law without legislation, it won't happen with gay marriage "I really like this jacket, but the sleeves are much too long..." insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results... |

Incidentally, politicians don't give rights. They do their best to restrict us -- look at the Patriot Act, for example. That's like saying people who don't go to confession, or don't get baptized are "lazy." Voting is a purely religious ritual. It doesn't alter reality, morality, or the way the state does business. Besides being a colossal waste of time, it represents hiring a tiny group of lawyers and other thugs to rob your neighbors and order us around. You have no more right to do that than anyone has to ask the Mafia to shake you down and give some of the loot to him. If no one voted, politicians would have to give up the pretense of "majority rule," and openly admit that they maintain their power by threatening everyone with force. I'd prefer that to millions of Americans (still, the minority) demanding to be protected and given OPM (other people's money), and then bitching their damn fool heads off when the state acts like a gang of thugs! --Jackney Sneeb |
