| Sedimentary Rock Location: WA Posts: 17 | Nationalism - Corporatism - State This is Fascism. Discuss Fascism, I will pop in to dispell your widely believed myths about both Fascism as a political ideology, and Fascist history. What Is American Corporatism? Corporatism blends socialism and capitalism not by giving each control of different parts of the economy, but by combining socialism's promise of a government-guaranteed flow of material goods with capitalism's private ownership and management. Legislative representation is given to industries and workers' societies. So, in my opinion, the glorification of the nation is a dead concept. Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. Winston Churchill |

| Igneous Magma Location: New York City Posts: 739 | I have a feeling that whatever answer I give, the response will be an advertisement for the CEO's utopian view of the corporatist "third way." So out with it! . . . whenever any government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new government, laying its foundations on such principles and organizing its powers in such forms as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | It makes me wonder how one can really go beynd "facists oppress people".. I mean, we were all brainwas.. er, taught, in middle school all about those evil NAZIs and how they trampled over the "rights" of their citizens. But a whole topic, dedicated to the principles of denying basic priveledges to your citizens? Why bother? There probably already is a PATRIOT Act thread. |
