What do you mean by "enabled"...explain such a statement...
I mean could not have happened without their complicity and without a cooperation between the radical right and radical islamists.

V, If I could prove to you that 9/11 was enabled by right wing christians in this country would you keep an open mind?

Define enabled. If you mean we did nothing to prevent such an attack for the 10 years or so prior to 9/11, I would agree with whole heartedly. No one really DID anything they jsut spoke the right words at the right press confrences.

If you mean this was an American plot to start a war to gain oil... you'll have a hard time with me on that one.

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?

Nah, Iraq was the one for OIL. 9/11 was more along the ideas of the Turner Diaries. Are you familiar with the "Turner Diaries" by William Pierce? You may recognize the name of the book in relation to the Oklahoma bombing and McVeigh.

Chose the date, locations, places for the "martyrs" to live, communication, recruiting in Germany etc...

The situation on 9/11 for example would not have been the same on 9/4.

So 9/11 was based on a fictional book?

As was the Oklahoma City bombing. Do you disagree the book had something to do with OKC bombing?

Just asking so I can find a common place of agreement to begin my presentation.

Sorry no, I am not familiar with the turner Diaries, when I get some sleep I'll check into it though.

There's a good review at of this book at Amazon.com that sums this up -

Quote:
I will never cease to be amazed at the morons who claim this novel caused timothy macveigh to bomb that federal center. Macveigh said at his "trial" that a government leads by example, meaning the massacre of the branch davidians in Waco, at which He was highly upset. Had He been arrested with a copy of The cat in the hat would Dr.Suess have been blamed? How about blaming the increasing police state on George Orwell's book 1984? The REAL reason people get so upset about this book is because it tells the story of a world-wide race war from the view point of a white racist, and We ALL know that's a big no-no. In this sick anti-white society we're all expected to laugh at (and of course hate)redneck, dumb blond, whitebread, hillbilly, homophobic, male chauvanistic pig, honkies. Had this book been another rehash of the evils of mean old whitey towards the Indians, blacks, and jews, it would get glowing reviews, and probably have already been made into a hollywood movie.(Complete with Oscars and Emmys)I guess I really should'nt be surprised, a twisted population who idolizes black, murdering gang bangers like Tupac-shakur, and jewish sleaze merchants like Jerry Springer would surely hate this book. ( Because They're so full of "love" and "Tolerance")Who knows, maybe Oprah and Dr.Phil will show us the way.

'Turner Diaries' introduced in McVeigh trial

April 28, 1997
Web posted at: 3:05 p.m. EDT (1905 GMT)

DENVER (CNN) -- At the trial of Timothy McVeigh, an FBI agent introduced clippings from an anti-government novel, "The Turner Diaries," that were taken from the car McVeigh was driving when he was arrested 90 minutes after the Oklahoma City bombing.

One of those clippings had this phrase highlighted: "But the real value of all of our attacks today lies in the psychological impact, not in the immediate casualties."

Another highlighted phrase read, "We can still find them and kill them."

Well here is some additional info for you to try to dispute.

More recently, the Aryan Republican Army, which committed 22 bank robberies and bombings across the Midwest between 1992 and 1996, cited The Turner Diaries as inspiration, as did The New Order, whose members were charged with conspiracy to possess and make machine guns. At the time of their indictment, an F.B.I. agent testified that the group planned to bomb the Anti-Defamation League's New York headquarters, the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama, and the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. It had also talked of bombing state capitols and post offices, and poisoning public water supplies with cyanide.

But The Turner Diaries exerted its most tragic influence on the mind of Timothy McVeigh. Days before he bombed the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people and wounding 500 others, McVeigh mailed a letter to his sister warning that "something big is going to happen," followed by a second envelope with clippings from The Turner Diaries. When she learned of her brother's arrest in connection with the bombing, McVeigh's sister burned the clippings

and some more....

Finally, Turner receives his suicide order. His last entry describes the mission with heroic self-disregard:

It's a one way trip to the Pentagon for me. The warhead is strapped into the front seat of the old Stearman [fighter plane] and rigged to detonate either
on impact or when I flip a switch in the back seat. Hopefully, I'll be able to manage a low-level air burst directly over the center of the Pentagon. Failing that, I'll at least try to fly as close as I can before I'm shot down.

In an epilogue, the narrator explains that Turner's suicide bomb crippled the Pentagon and became a turning point in the Revolution. With the System's "principal military nerve center" destroyed, the Organization is able to begin destroying urban areas across the nation that were controlled by the enemy. As the Revolution's momentum grows, its mandate begins to extend to white populations and the nonwhite peril across the globe; we learn that white domination over the planet is ultimately achieved with nuclear bombs.

Boy, flying a plane into the Pentagon---how prophetic!

Well it's just so obvious...Muslim terrorists were so enamored by a fictional novel about an Aryan uprising that they tried to destroy the pentagon...how could I have missed that?

No, but the whole enemy of my enemy thing comes into play. Israel and the US government are both declared enemies of both groups.

So because someone wrote a fictional book, which used some real world countries, it's all linked together somehow?

I'm going to agree with dotcoma on this one -

The scariest coincidence is that the author of that book's birthday is 9/11.

Seriously, this is not based on coincidences and many involved have been prosecuted since 9/11.

"What better recruiting sergeant could Bin Laden have than the President of the United States." Robert Fisk

"we have it in our power to begin the world over again. We are not insulting the world with our fleets and armies, nor ravaging the globe for plunder. Beneath the shade of our own vines are we attacked; in our own houses, and on our own lands, is the violence committed against us." Tom Paine referring to the suffering of Americans, but Muslims in Falluja, Baghdad, Najaf, Ramallah or Gaza city could be forgiven for thinking that he was writing about them.

Who are terrorists and why opp’s did I use that dirty rotten word WHY sorry that wasn’t meant to be. What I meant was who are the terrorists?

An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come.
