| dual citizen Location: Seattle Posts: 53 | Bush frequently contradicts himself. In his address the evening of 9/11 he said that immediately after the first attack, he activated our emergency plans. But then he tells us in Florida and California that he didn't know the first attack was anything other than an accident. His response to the second attack is certainly not immediate. In fact his action (after continuing the reading program) was to prepare and deliver a speech that he gave that hour. Whether he is lying or confused or whatever, he was willing to talk freely with Jordan, but not the full 9/11 Commission. |

First the White House said that there was no warning at all of the attacks. That was false and Ari F. who said it knew it was false. Bush still refuses to meet with the entire 9/11 Commission. I don't hate Bush. You, Steven, should understand that people who care about the truth will seem to you to have something against Bush, but that may only be because Bush places little importance on truth. I wish it weren't so. |

| Mr. Queen Posts: 231 | I don't know if anyone's said this yet, but I know this much. That morning was such a f*cking nightmare that when I try to recount it I get things mixed up order-wise too. I can look back and be sure that I saw the second plane hit live, but I know I really didn't because I didn't turn on the TV until the second plane hit. I DID see the first collapse, and I didn't see the second because I was outside looking for signs of panic in the streets and wondering why the hell there was none. I was also looking in the sky for fighter planes and bombs. But the rest of the morning was all running around losing my mind screaming, begging my husband NOT to go to West Point as he was supposed to do, and for god's sake the PENTAGON had been hit and he couldn't leave, and just WAITING for air raid sirens and bombs to start dropping because we were in the dead center - south of NYC, North of the capitol, east of PA - right in the red area in NJ where they told us would be the FIRST place to be hit when the shit hit the fan and the bombs started dropping. I didn't feel slightly safe until all planes were grounded. So no, I don't remember all the exact sequences PRECISELY either, but the morning is still burned into my mind like a curse. I can only imagine as the president, being in charge, knowing DC was also under attack, was also mind-bogglingly traumatic. I don't think it was a lie at all but merely the recollection of one of the most horrible days in our nation's history. Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest. Mohandas Gandhi |

Bush is NOT a great public speaker to begin with, and 9/11 was aweful, horribly aweful. I have said "I watched the first plane crash" cause, well when I tuned in, there were conflicting reports of what happened to the first building.... Does that make me a liar hiding a mass concperiacy? Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route? |

Why don't you call Alex right now and tell him how counterproductive he is and how "poor" his research is. He's on air right now... |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 3,154 | Why would you depend on mainstream media to inform you on info that conflicts with their propaganda? Bush said he saw the first plane hit LIVE as it happened. How could he have done this? I don't care how "crazy" that morning was. Everything Bush says is scripted and when he deviates from the script, he f@cks up like the said circumstance. They are lying to us. LOOK AT HISTORY! |

But they signed on to the 9/11 attacks. Logic, its not an art, it just requires some thought. Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route? |
