Pay particular attention to the quotes of John Adams, as posted by Starboy. I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered. -George Best, on being asked what he did with his footballing fortunes. |

![]() It's only logical Location: San Diego Posts: 4,958 | Apparently James thinks we should reinstitute slavery as well... “Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward" (1 Peter 2:18) "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ" (Ephesians 6:5) "Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them." (1 Timothy 6:1-2) "Masters, grant to your slaves justice and fairness, knowing that you too have a Master in heaven." (1 Tim 6:1) "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit." (2 Cor. 4:5) "For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it." (Matthew 19:12) And James, what was it that Christ was drinking at the last supper? Could it be that the Bible counseled moderation, not complete abstinace of alcohal? . I don't suffer from insanity... I thoroughly enjoy it |

Sonart: You are a mean, but very very funny bastard. Kudos on a great use of the Bible. Fixed ideas are like a cramp in the foot - the best remedy against it is to tread on it. -Søren Kierkegaard | |
