27 Days Since Iraq Govt Announced: 562 Iraqis, 58 GIs Killed:
A car bomb exploded next to a U.S. Army convoy in Baghdad on Tuesday, killing three soldiers, while another American died in a drive-by shooting a half-hour later. Their deaths pushed the number of U.S. troops killed in three days to 14, part of a surge in attacks that have also killed about 60 Iraqis.

*laughs* Wasn't the invasion just that? Well done...

Has anyone else stopped keeping track of exactly what the government in iraq is like?

I can't keep on top of what the hell kind of government they have in a given week, and who's getting elected for what. And then it's impossible to get a clear idea of how the govenment's doing because the two sides give such wildly different anylisies that I have no idea what to think.

And when I hear about another car bombing, I totally ignore it. Hearing about another bombing in iraq has become as monotonous as my daily crap. Kind of like a background noise that you stop hearing after a while.

The bottom line: No one seems to really know what is going on, and the few who really do, spin it so hard that you have no idea who to trust. All I do know is that someones getting f***ed over. What worries me is that I don't think I care anymore.

Fixed ideas are like a cramp in the foot - the best remedy against it is to tread on it.

Since the Iraqi election on 1/31/05, 215 American soldiers have died. 1510 American soldiers have died since our Flight Suit in Chief declared "Mission Accomplished".

Iraq's "democracy" isn't democratic and all King George's Mission has accomplished is to sink us ever deeper into a war we cannot win. Fortunately almost 60% of Americans now say the war isn't worth it. We may have been lied into war, but the truth is slowly becomeing ever more clear.
