You have probably heard of the Foxwoods Casino, the largest Indian casino on the east coast. It has made a lot of money for its owners, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe in Connecticut.

The Nipmuc Nation in nearby Massachusetts would like to get in the action, and has proposed building a casino in that state. The wealthy Foxwoods Casino owners would prefer not to have the competition.

The Foxwoods Casino owners also gave $435,948.00 in soft money to elect GW Bush.

Which just might explain why the GW Bush Administration, (not long after re-instating the elder Bush's abortion Gag rule), promptly revoked the Nipmuc Nation’s federal recognition.

No wonder they had little time to devote to fighting terrorism.
