| Igneous Magma Posts: 257 | Terrorist In the US what should happen? I can't remember the guys name however I know I herd this on NPR. Apparently there was a nasty man who was in cuba... he was trained by the CIA and was sent out against Castro. This was in the 70's and 80's... apparently he caused a plain to explode with a buntch of cuban athleates on it. Well he now just showed up in miami and held a press confrence. He was taken in by homeland securty and held as illegal entry. 29 years ago he caued about 45 people to die in a plane that came out of cuba bound for bolivia. He is labled a terrorist... and Bush has said many many times that any country that harbors them is a terrorist state. Vensiweila apparently hates him too and so cuba and venisulia both want him extradited. Funny thing is though 40 years ago this is what the US told him to do. What do you think should be done with? Is he a terrorist? |

| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 10 | He is a pawn for a terrorist state, that terrorist state being the USA, and it still trains people like him today. The major problem for the CIA is that these people often use their skills for their own agendas as well as the CIA's agenda, for instance Osoma Bin Laden was trained by CIA to kill Russians, but now kills Americans as well. I think this person is a terrorist, but not as much so as those who ordered him to do these things, which could include various presidents. |

How do you think we would react if McVeigh had gone to Cuba and they refused to send him back for trial? | |

To them, terrorism (or terrism as it's usually pronounced) has a clear definition: acts of violence against US citizens by swarthy Muslims. ![]() Throbbing Member Location: Old Europe Posts: 7,160 | Well what do you think? The US has long harboured anti-Castrists of all stripes, including those who don't bother with niceties such as avoiding the death of innocents. These groups have gotten away with murder, literally, for decades. So, to dispel your "confusion", what are the chances he was acting on a whim? | Igneous Magma Posts: 257 | He blue up the plane once the CIA droped him on his ass. They didn't want to put up with him and didn't bring him home. He was sent after castro a while back as was delceared an emeny of the sate. The problem with sending him back is that cuba and Venisweila are not known for fair impartiality and more imporantly as much as I know some of you will say that the US is horrid... the courts in the US are fairly impartial at least much more then them. It's delecate, but the funny thing is if we do any favors in the international community we are a terrorist state and this would prove it more then anything. If we give him back he will be tired and executed probibly in the most brutal way. It may just disapear on it's own but the international cunmminty prolly won't let it down. I can't wait for updates... btw anyone see this in the pappers? |
