| BANNED-Warned multiple times about instigating. User then reported topics multiple times to mess with staff. Posts: 4,412 | Mother of all Smokescreens http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story...5,00.html?=rss This article is quite a bit different from the article at http://edition.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS...ood/index.html CNN didn't show all of it. I'm hoping to find a transcript. Maybe C-Span will show it all. Anyway, he appeared to kick some butt. Talked about the murderous sanctions and the "puppet government" and how this whole thing was a smokescreen. Why aren't these Senators being grilled for their part in Bush's crimes? |

Maybe they should take a lesson from the military. They have done an adequate, if belated job, at covering up the report that Newsweek quoted regarding Koran trashing. Now they can blame the "liberal" media and go back to abusing prisoners. Rick "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." Sinclair Lewis | |

| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 10 | The full hearing: http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/avdb/new...53_bb_16x9.asx I enjoyed this, Galloway did very well at attacking the disinformation propogating from the senate, and indeed attacking the hypocracy and jingoism of the US. No small feet when you look at where he was sitting in relation to where the senators were sitting, it must have been highly imposing. I, for one, am looking forward to watching the House of Commons when Mr Galloway speaks. |

He has also been investigated by the Commons commite on charitable trusts and exonerated of all wrond doing. The man is a pompous pius ass.....but he has been wronged and I for one am impressed with the response given by him.
