Beheading Policy, Your President is Sick, America

When did we become what we hate?
Transcript for May 8 Tim Russert interview
Quote:
MR. RUSSERT: Mr. Black gave you specific instructions on what he wanted you to bring home.

MR. SCHROEN: That's true. He did ask that once we got bin Laden and killed him, that we send his head back in a cardboard box on dry ice so that he could take it down and show the president.

MR. RUSSERT: Where would you find the dry ice in Afghanistan?
So Junior wants American soldiers to behead OBL?
This scenario begs a few questions, like:

1)When did "we" become "them"?

2)Is this a souvenier for the Skull and Bones, to add to the trophy room set between Geronimo and Pancho Villas' skulls?

3)Tim Russerts follow up "Where would you find the dry ice in Afghanistan" seems pretty "softball" to me. Where is the outrage?

4) Are we this barbaric as a civilization? Is this where evolution is taking us? Back to Ghenghis Khan and Nazi Germany. Is "w" building a bridge to B.C. ?

One more thing....
When did OBL have his day in court? I must have missed it in between all the really important trials we have had lately. Do we actually have evidence that OBL was involved in 911 attacks? Or, are we just supposed to believe. Just drink the Kool-Aid and believe? Its no longer "Dead or Alive" as in "w"s hotshot speech, no they dont want him alive, he knows too much about "w".

From the transcript:
Quote:
MR. SCHROEN: The mission was to--the first part of it was to go in and link up with the Northern Alliance, formerly headed by Ahmed Al-Massoud, and to win their confidence and their agreement to cooperate militarily with us. They were the only armed force on the ground in Afghanistan opposing the Taliban. The second part of it was, once the Taliban were broken, to attack the al-Qaeda organization, find bin Laden and his senior lieutenants and kill them.

MR. RUSSERT: Kill them?

MR. SCHROEN: Kill them.
Gary Schroen is a former senior CIA agent.

I am truly uncomfortable listening to interviews like the linked transcript. (which I saw)

The thing to note about this interview is that Russert leads the guest with every question. Its like he already knows the answer before he asks the question.

So, if these are new "facts" being brought to the American people why is that Russert seemingly already knows all the answers? Hell, he provided most of the answer in the question, and in quotes to qualify the questions.

This frustrates me endlessly. It also helps to confirm (to me anyway) that Operaion Mockingbird is a very real phenomenon, and that the people inside the Press really do know a Hell of a lot more than they tell us. This is not in the public interest, and it is a violatioin (I believe) of the FCC licensing agreement that they signed. If the information is considered "national security"" then what is the Press doing with the information? That is not where the decision should be made about national security interests.

I consider this interview to be another attempt to tell us part of the truth. However, without the whole truth, its just more cover-up, and half truths, which do nobody any good. Except perhaps those that they (the CIA/State Dept.) are protecting by not tying the whole story together for us. In other words, another attempt to "revise" history, or the "official story" at least.

P.S. Yes, it is shocking to think Osama's head could end up in the Skull, and Bones collection, and that the order came all the way from the top.

Why is it shocking that the terrorist gets a taste of his own medicine?

Isnt it shocking that we act like terrorists? Are we members of the "Axis of Evil"?
Its only good when WE do it? I thought it was how we treated others, that makes us better or more civilized.
Actually I am aware that WE trained the terrorists of today, just yesterday.
Do a google for School of the Americas to see where they learn it.

When we deal with terrorists, we can't win unless we take off the kid gloves and fight fire with fire. Send out our death squads. Bring back their heads on a silver platter. They show us no mercy; don't expect any from us.

As for the terrorists we once trained (or helped), well, that's the past. There can be no eternal friends or foes. So get over it. We'll just have to eliminate our present enemies the best we can and rectify our past mistakes if necessary.

Maybe Tim Russert did his homework, I havent read the book myself, so I am not sure these facts are included; Here is Gary Schroen's book: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...8725&itm=1#REV
maybe somebody on his staff read it, but I know what you are talking about. I am aware of Op. Mockingbird. And psy-ops. They want us to know what they are willing to do, they let it slip how barbaric they can be so that we wont question authority. Its all so Orwellian.

Oh, so you say we must be terrorists? Do you hate America? Do you want other nations to come gunning for us, the terrorists?

I thought democracy was so great that we had to force it on other nations, but if we start chopping off heads, why would anyone think we were any different from other tyrants?

The war on terror ended when we started a war in Iraq, which had nothing to do with terror and never attacked us.

Assassinations are not legal either, but the CIA makes it a practice. Fight fire with fire indeed, tinybear.
A recent example: http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/asiapc...ing/index.html
Just say someone is a killer and then the CIA can target them for elimination without trial. al Qaeda al Qaeda al Qaeda blah blah blah. Tried by the propaganda machine and blown up by remote control. This is the glory days of global Empire.

There are some things the terrorists understand. They understand violence. They understand death. They understand threats. So long as they think they can hold someone, threaten to kill them and have any hope that the nation they are blackmailing might cave in, they're happy.

We really do need to fight fire with fire. For every American citizen that is beheaded, we need to take the top ten terrorists that are important to these people and publically behead them. Let the terrorists know that every act of terrorism will be met with an even bigger show of force. They'll either learn their lesson or they'll run out of people.

Either way is fine with me.

A terrorist is sanctified with the "an enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine" policy according to the dichotomy of the anti Bush propagandist. In other words, its a unforgivable act, a moral abomination and a cardinal sin when americans do it.

Cephus,
That doesnt make any sense because we started it and they are saying the same thing.
We did OBL (provided he isnt dead like it was reported 3 years ago) a big favor. We attacked an oil rich mid eastern country, without provocation. That will boost recruitment for muslim extremists who were just looking for a cause to fight.

You must not value the lives of American soldiers to make them sitting ducks in a hotbed of hate. For profit of the few. This is not about terror. Terror is but the ruse used to steal the oil.

Iraq had no terrorists before we got there.

That is hardly worth an argument....thanks for officially standing down...it almost looks like an earnest plea like Capt. Smith going down with the Titanic.

Unless you consider US the terrorists. We committed acts not unlike 911, on the innocent citizens of Iraq.

The irony here is that the Bush cabal almost completely lost interest in getting Bin Laden until it became clear that they were losing, or at the most optimistic scenario, not winning the war in Iraq.

Arrogance and the belief that the rules don't apply to them always brings the fall of empires. Now there riots all over Afghanistan (where we were supposed to have won) over an article in Newsweek that reported that US guards in Guantanamo used a Quran for toilet paper. And Washington runs and hide from an errant Cessna.

I didn't mean literally chop off their heads and put them on a silver platter (and I don't think the President meant that either). What I mean is, as soon as you identify terrorists, retribution must be swift, ruthless and merciless. This is the one time when I say throw the rulebooks outta the window and let them have it.

Our allies would love it. Our enemies? Well, whatever we do, they'll be gunning for us anyway.

This is a joke man, do you post this stuff to get a rise or do you really believe they want to behead bin Laden and bring his head back on a silver platter?

Ever hear of the term "figure of speech"?
