Well, I don't like the idea of a centralized government, but who's to say that a string of governments won't still work together behind the scenes, it already happens everyday. But, with a centralized power, atleast if they get oppressive, the people will be able to narrow down to what people to point their guns and pens at. With a whole lot, like today, its confusing to know who's the people behind the oppression, so the people don't know who to go after.

Whenever citizens are seen routinely as enemies of their own government, writers are routinely seen to be the most dangerous enemies.

Violent revolutions breed violent leaders.

Stalin, Mao, Hitler were all born out of violence.

You think a violent revolution will bring paradise?

No. My grandfather spoke of revolutionaries in China burning enemy prisoners of war and eating their hearts. He was there and he did it too.

Several of the Russian immigrants in my primary school class talked of their own great-grandparents, during the Russian revolution, skinning people.

Violence breeds violent people. Violent revolution breeds a violent society. You think it won't happen? How do you explain the Chinese Red Guards, young innocent children turned into killers, staking their teachers and eating their hearts? Don't say its propaganda; my parents were there at the time.

However, if violent revolution does start, I'll probably join up. Hell, better to be a revolutionary murderer than a passive body.

Ideological loyalty is the act of giving your soul to a vague concept, to be manipulated by people smarter than you.

Riiiight... I think a more common sense solution would be to clear the fuck out of dodge when shit starts hitting the fan. I think moving is preferable to having your throat cut or killing children.
