    Is the IRS guilty of Cheating?

    Larkin Rose seems to think it is. Larkin Rose, after studying the tax code believes that the law itself exempts most American's from paying taxes.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    How many Americans have had to endure the intrusive and frightening interrogation known as an IRS "audit"? Well it turns out that while sticking its nose in everyone else's business, the IRS has been less than honest itself. More specifically, the IRS has been caught cheating...
    to the tune of about a trillion dollars a year.
    The IRS is quite experienced at using intimidation, demonization, and harassment tactics, but what can be done when the "enforcers" are the ones breaking the rules? Click below to see how at least one man is standing up to the IRS.
    Regardless of whether you agree or not, the fact that it's so complicated should be reason enough for the Supreme Court to rule it unconstitutional. If enough people see this perhaps with enough indignation, the IRS and the income tax could be abolished. It wouldn't be that impractical either. I saw a stat recently that said if the Income tax were abolished, government would only be reduced to Clinton era size.
    Anyway,
    Take a look, and let me know what you think.
    I've heard of this before, and I am disgusted, but what I've never seen discussed before is how pragmatic it is to actually opt out of the system. Can anyone speak to this?
    I'm sorry to say I don't think there IS a pragmatic way. We all know the government doesn't follow it's own laws, so even if he's correct, that part doesn't matter. He's just trying to raise some public awareness. Hopefully if enough regular people get upset enough, they'll all be clammering for the Income tax to be completely abolished.
    I think you have a misconception too. He's not talking about things like "opting out" or anything like that. He's talking about what the law itself says. I'd encourage you to watch his message if you haven't already done so. It's real short. (20 sec or so I think)
    BTW. Larkin Rose, to my knowledge, is also a Free State Project member ( http://www.freestateproject.com ) So he's coming to New Hampshire (and of course all the FSP members hate taxes as well). There were actually 2 bills in the NH House regarding the income tax last year. I hope they get resurected.
    One Established a committee to study the constitutionality of the federal income tax and constitutional abuses in the collection of the income tax and its effects on New Hampshire citizens.
    The other would have nullified the Sixteenth amendment to the United States Constitution.
    Nullifying the income tax -- or at least the IRS' misapplication of the laws (Which-ever you want to believe) is already in the consciousness of NH residents and law-makers. With the Free State Project, (and Larkin Rose amoung them.) I believe it's very possible that in a few years New Hampshire could become a bit of a haven from the Income Tax.
    Anyway,
