Americans favor Obama to defend against space aliens: poll

Good news for obama, his core constituency is still behind him.

"Nearly two in three Americans think President Barack Obama is better suited than Republican rival Mitt Romney to deal with an alien invasion, according to a survey released Wednesday."

It amazes me how Democrats became more trusted on issues of foreign policy while Republicans suddenly morphed into the economic stewards. Now there's you a role reversal of a lifetime.

A man said to the universe:
    "Sir, I exist!"
    "However," replied the universe,
"The fact has not created in me
    A sense of obligation."

National Geographic Channel drumming up ratings for another bullshit UFO special isnt exactly a reliable poll. Besides, what does this have to do with anything?

And his core constituency? really? have your arguments become so tired that you must resort to insinuations of tinfoilhat syndrome?

Quote mining leads to harder, more damaging idiocy, like ignoring evidence, believing things because they feel good or "just make sense", and plain old blind adherence. If you cant say what you are going to say without misrepresenting, maybe you should reexamine your point.

Unbeknownst to the public, he has already had two alien species and one variety of eldritch space-horror eliminated. No President since Ronald Reagan has terminated this many aliens and done so much to secure our cosmic and dimensional borders.

The Republicans are lucky they have even a minor edge on being perceived as good for the economy. That's just good marketing.

The more you complain, the less I care about your problems.

You've only touched the tip of the ice berg Thanatos. According to Galactic Security News Services, the Obama administration launched a secret hit mission against the alien Cyborg terrorist known by the alias "Borgster." He's terrorized the nether regions of the Milky Way galaxy for the past 2 millennia and has now set his sights on colonizing Pluto and its two moons as a staging area for solar system attacks. Unfortunately, the assassination took place in Klingon territory and hurt intergalactic relations. The Klingons of course threatened to retaliate against Earth and all of its allies but they abandoned the attack when Obama pledged to send in the new Amazon unit of the Marines. Heavily nuked female warriors scare the shit out of those alien thugs.

Bottom line, Obama wins on alien security issues. Health care is another story.

...and the first comment on the story says:

"People thought that they were voting for Will Smith."

Quote removed because someone got their feelings hurt. (boo hoo)

It doesn't really surprise me. The Democratic Party has held imperialist gems such as Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, Bill Clinton and, of course, Barack Obama.

Don't forget FDR and Woodrow Wilson.

But truth, Hajjaj was convinced, held many layers.

Soon after making that post I realized that all US presidents have been imperialists.
