What does it mean? It means a person's birthplace has nothing to with whether or not he is loyal to his country. That in turn means every American who is loyal to America should be able to run for President irrespective of his place of birth. Am I getting through to you yet, Lou?

Not at all. "In turn"? Why does one automatically equals the other? If foreign-borns cannot be president (or get a security clearance), we don't have to worry about foreign nations exploiting that particular weakness. It's pretty simple for those who don't live in a fairy tale world.

There is no weakness exclusively inherent in the "foreign born". If there is a weakness, it occurs in all, whether foreign born or US born. You're not making sense, Lou.

I didn't say their was a weakness is being foriegn born, I implied there was a weakness in allowing them to be in charge of nuclear launch codes. Tiny, you're out of your depth on this one.....

Why should you go to the trouble of ammending the Constitution?
After the US has conquered the rest of the world, just make the subjugated territories into another US State, and then everyone will have been born on US soil. :)

Only Americans should be able to become president. I suppose that could be pretty much anyone in the world who is loyal to the American nation (I say this to include immigrants, potential, whatever). Illegal Mexicans? No. Then again, illegal Mexicans shouldn't be here at all, should they?
