Its called thinning the herd, culling for result. If there are not explicit laws set forth to govern what is done with these results, how they are handled, how the privacy is handled, it is NOT LEGAL by default. This is not part of the prescribed process for criminal investigation.

They want to rule out those who are INNOCENT, instead of using evidence to find who is at FAULT.

Then you haven't been paying attention. I'm not a criminal. They will get my DNA and fingerprints when they get my guns. End of story. You guys want to be part of the criminal, corporate fascist slave state, so be it....Have fun.
What in the name of Satan? You've got this the wrong way round. Why on earth would you afraid of having your identity recorded? Have you got something to hide?

Well, if you're so worried about it, why don't you check into that and see how it's being handled and post what you find here?

It's called freedom. And yes, I do have something top hide from a criminal, out-of-control, quasi world government. YOU have got this the wrong way around and THANKS to people like you this beast of a system gets more and more control by the minute.

So do you have a better way to catch criminals? Something else that forensics can work with?

Yes pooey, the Guidelines in the Constitution, which recognizes that all rights, including the right to privacy is guranteed. They have been catching criminals for years before DNA, and they will continue to do so, maybe just not in this case since the bumbling boobs, who are investigating can't do their job the right way.

The first step? Destroy the economic system that enables and creates crime. Forensics are great. My best friend help catch murderers at the body farm in TN. No problem with forensics. My only problem is pre-crime.

But now with genetics at hand we can increase certainty and perhaps the range of changes that can be solved. And what constitution are you talking about?

Right, that's going to be cheap isn't it? First you'd have to take down the politicians who've got the corps lining their pockets and next you have to face these big corporations who own and control the system. Sure, when is this scheduled?

Cheap? It would pay for itself thousands of times over. My guess is the black market is worth what? 4,5, 6, 7 trillion. Who freaking knows. It's scheduled for whenever people decide to stop coddling evil. At least you'll admit the system exists.

Ron Paul:
Quote:
"National ID cards are not proper in a free society," Paul stated. "This is America, not Soviet Russia. The federal government should never be allowed to demand papers from American citizens, and it certainly has no constitutional authority to do so."

"A national identification card, in whatever form it may take, will allow the federal government to inappropriately monitor the movements and transactions of every American," Paul continued. "History shows that governments inevitably use such power in harmful ways. The 9/11 commission, whose recommendations underlie this bill, has called for internal screening points where identification will be demanded. Domestic travel restrictions are the hallmark of authoritarian states, not free nations. It is just a matter of time until those who refuse to carry the new licenses will be denied the ability to drive or board an airplane."

"Nationalizing standards for drivers' licenses and birth certificates, and linking them together via a national database, creates a national ID system pure and simple. Proponents of the national ID understand that the public remains wary of the scheme, so they attempt to claim they're merely creating new standards for existing state IDs. Nonsense! This legislation imposes federal standards in a federal bill, and it creates a federalized ID regardless of whether the ID itself is still stamped with the name of your state."

"Those who are willing to allow the government to establish a Soviet-style internal passport system because they think it will make us safer are terribly mistaken," Paul concluded. "Subjecting every citizen to surveillance and screening points actually will make us less safe, not in the least because it will divert resources away from tracking and apprehending terrorists and deploy them against innocent Americans! Every conservative who believes in constitutional restraints on government should reject the authoritarian national ID card and the nonsensical intelligence bill itself."
Thank you, Congressman Paul.

Why does it sound like some people here might be future criminals and are worried that a DNA database or a national ID card might help authorities track them down, in the future...? :p

Simple. You've been programmed to think that way. Nazi youth never had a problem showing their papers, either.

Interesting...a liberal and so-called conservative teaming up against someone advocating a true, Constitutional Republic. You guys have more in common than you think....

Who says I'm a liberal?
I'm not teaming up with him but we do support a common concept.

Lou is right, he is pointing at both "parties" idea of globalism, world government, which entails STRIPPING the Constitution from this society. You both have been championing the concept in this debate.

I see your point Lou.

What constitution? Bare in mind that our own one is unwritten...

Are you trying to say that this DNA profiling is some scheme towards 1984?
