And your problem with this is...? If you were not the killer, why not submit your DNA? It will be used as a crime solving tool not to be stored in a Big Brother database, nor will it be stored in a New World Order Database. And it most surely won't be stored in a Black Helicopters Inc. Database.

If it will be, I am sure they will call in their alien friends to maintain that database of all 293M Americans, starting with you. They, with the aide of their alien friends have already bugged your house -which you don't know yet. They have already installed CCTV right outside your doorstep cause thats what they aim for, to spy on Americans, starting right in your backyard.

When you coerce them into providing intimate identificatory information about themselves, treating them like suspects in a crime, it -IS- tyranny. I'm all for catching murderers; but it MUST be done in a manner that is consistant with respect for human Liberty.

You compared genocide with collecting DNA samples...do you not see a problem with that??

Collecting DNA should be nothing of a big deal, it's kind of like getting your fingerprint. However, having said that, you can get a lot of information from the sequences, like if you're susceptible to cancer or other genetic conditions or what you may be carrying. This has big implications for insurance companies, of course. Question is, can the gov't handle our DNA in a fully confidential manner?

Look, the topic was about collecting DNA from all the men in a small town to find a murderer, not about a whistle blower(on a completely different topic) at the FBI.
