In other words India refused aid for the reasons of "national pride" and "security". Gee, I wonder if they consulted their people, especially those who were hit by the tsunamis before they made this courageous decision.

Well, that 's not "all aid". Looks like they are boycotting the Dutch and German central banks. Maybe there is more to this story. What do the banks want in return?

If I had evidence, what would be the point of asking the question? I wouldn't need to ask the question. Get it? It's not on the fringe to think that there might be more to a story then what you get from a few paragraphs printed off a newswire.

Are they? please provide evidence. I've lived in that region for a while and it seemed to me the chinese are more of an upper-class in relation to the malay and indonesian people.

I have another website showing graphic photos of Chinese women being gangraped by muslim Malays in the streets during the riots. The graphic nature of these photos make it inappropriate for me to post that link here.

The Chinese are a minority in Indonesia, but they possess the bulk of the wealth. Political power, however, remains in the hands of the Malays. In times of unrest, the Malays naturally target the Chinese. Chinese owned shops are the main target of the rioters and looters (and Chinese women that of the rapists).

And I have pictures of Chinese tanks rolling over peaceful student protestors. I have also seen pictures of Special Forces machine-gunning woman and children as they try to exit a burning building. What is your point?
