American Caste System Unveiled

It seems to me that America has now moved to solidified a New CASTE system. The levels are quite obvious although the main public refuses to identify it. Some american lives are worth more than other american's - but far worse is the growing feeling that AMerican LIVES are always worth more than those of our FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS. This is sad, This does not only imply to "Insurgents" this applies to those such as the People of Rwanda, Sudan, Palestine, Eurpoe, Asia, you name it, you can find a plethora of examples in the media today as well as those from days before. It doesnt stop. Unless there are diamonds, oil, platinum, or a place to export a new Mc D's, you will not see a "reguard" for live. Truthfully it isn't even the reguard for life, just opportunity. Some here at this site may call me a Pacifist, be it what you will. But when it comes to the EQUALITY of all MEN, WOMEN, and CHILDREN, there should be no deviation in the principles of our policies nor flagrant disreguard for "non-American" basic human rights.

America has been something of a schizophrenic personality, tragically divided against herself. On the one hand we have proudly professed the great principles of democracy, but on the other hand we have sadly practiced the very opposite of those principles."

That is somewhat the case, the USA is founded upon a philosophy and not so much on "the law" which is man made or manipulated by judges.

In that philosophy each individual has the freedom or right to determine what a "Creator" is. Whatever interpretation makes you happy, as long as we do not try to force others to conform to our own individual interpretation. (AKA - a biblical creator or some other type of creative influence as it might be introduced by another religion or belief system - such as Tao and so forth). Even evolution can be viewed as the "Creator" of all that is.

You know, it is odd but I have never known of a case founded upon our right to be happy. For example: if someone can get happy smoking pot then how can they have a war on that drug and outlaw it? That idea has never really been explored much in our courts, the right to be or to seek happinenss. Hmmm? That is one of our most undemanded rights which seems to have gone unnoticed a lot. Does our school teacher, our boss, our judges, our political leaders, our preachers who wish to regulate pleasure, do they really want us to be happy or do they keep finding ways to make life more of a misery for everyone? What ever became of the "Happy Right"?

Does watching the evening news make you happy? I doubt it. So are not the news reporters violating our rights by not giving us more happy news? I mean, hey, we want to watch the news and be informed, but what a bummer trip that can become when almost all the good news is voided from the media. They think their ratings depend on us wanting to be judgemental and mad about something. Does getting mad make you happy? Perhaps for the majority but what about the rights of those who want to get happy watching happy and positive news programs on our so-called public airways?

Remember that 1980s song "Girls just wanna have fun" - yipes! Sounded like something taboo, not conforming, radical.

More later - if I get around to it.

I say: I totally disagree here, and don't see how you arrive at that conclusion. Our government was created from several philosophies and argued and debated until arriving at a sensible middle ground, which was that all are "entitled" to be live as they see fit, with the exception of respecting others rights to do the same, which would require a judicial branch. They were also in agreement that fraud was a crime, punishable.

The Constitution is probably the most durable, everlasting document created by man. It is what provided us the luxury to sit here and contemplate idle thoughts in what remains of our freedom.
The problem is, as I have said a thousand times, the Constitutions limitations are no longer enforced or recognized as the Law of the Land.

History has shown clearly we stepped out of Constitutional alignment, and it also shows how our system has progressively worked to futher limit the abilities of the people, and encroach on all of their accepted "God" given rights.

If the Constitution were restored, and an entirely new body of elected officials were voted in under a fair voting system, after fair, equal debate, the system would be only a couple amendments away from perfection of its creators intentions.

The Constitution is dead. Ding, Dong... The guys in power have no incentive whatsoever to abide by its restictions, after all, it was created in the hopes that something like our current situation would not happen.

Sounds like good reasons to support the Constitution Party or, if you have weird amoral leanings, the Libertarian Party.

I am a member of no party, but I voted Badnarik. I am closest to the libertarian ideology, and it has nothing to do with amorality, it has to do with respecting the rights of ALL, not just christians.
